We trained specifically for this situation and watched it all unfold at the Putrajaya International Dragon Boat Race 2026. Every single one of our crew turned up, dug deep, recovered and did it all over again.

The results - 7 boats in the finals and 2 podium finishes

Consistency is the key, all in every time.

Over the weekend, six of our members attended the Malaysian Dragon Boat Federation - MDBF Level 1 & Level 2 Dragon Boat Coaching Course, conducted by Coach Carl Mendoza - taking the opportunity to deepen our understanding of the sport and gain new perspective on coaching, training and athlete development.

One of our own members contributed to the programme by delivering the Basic Life Support session, sharing valuable knowledge and skills that are essential both on and off the water.

41st Melaka Dragon Boat Festival 2026

Women’s-12A - 3rd Runner Up 🏆

- Open-12A and Open-12B
- Mixed-12A and Mixed-12B

Mid year checkpoint as we headed down south for the 41st Melaka Dragon Boat Festival 2026 last weekend.

This year, we fielded 2 boats in the 8km marathon paddling on Day 1 while Day 2 saw 5 out 6 boats making it to the Semi Finals!

Our ladies also returned to the Grand Finals, finishing as 3rd Runner Up 🏆

More work to be done with our next race just 3 weeks away!
