As we mark one year since the passing of our beloved Veer Kulwant Singh, we warmly invite everyone to join us in remembering and celebrating his life.

Veer Kulwant Singh was a loyal and dedicated sevadar of our beloved Niketan Foundation and GSPJ. Not forgetting he was a committed peradar in our Amrit Sanchar Jatha. He lived with kindness, humility and love, touching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His unwavering seva and devotion continue to inspire us.

In his loving memory, we will gather for a Kirtan & Katha Darbar to reflect on his life and the eternal message of Gurbani. The shabad "ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਨਮੁ ਸਵਾਰਿ ਦਰਗਹ ਚਲਿਆ" (Gurmukh Janam Savar Dargah Caleya) beautifully reminds us of a life lived in accordance with the Guru's teachings and the soul's journey to the Divine Court.

We humbly request the sangat to bless the occasion with your presence and join us in kirtan, katha and ardas as we remember Veer Kulwant Singh and pray for continued inspiration to walk the Guru's path.

Last weekend was a truly beautiful, and Sikhi inspiring experience for all of us. From 26th to 28th June, Gurdwara Sahib Menglembu became a home filled with laughter, learning, and the vibrant energy of kids and Naujawans by the Kirpa of Sri Akaal Purakh jee.

Our main focus was guiding the children on Gurmat and instilling core values, centering around the inspiring early life of Sri Guru Gobind Singh jee. The atmosphere throughout the weekend was incredibly soothing, leaving everyone with a deep sense of Anand.

Here are some of the beautiful moments we shared:
• *InspiSikh Sessions:* Campers connected deeply through blissful Sakhi storytelling woven together with calming Kirtan.
• *Joyful Horse Riding:* A major highlight! Even with no prior experience, campers felt safe and thrilled as guardians carefully guided the horses.
• *Khalsa Defense Games:* The absolute favorite! The Gurdwara compound turned into a hub of excitement with Khalsa battle games. The teamwork and energy here were unmatched!
• *Community Care:* Instead of just talking about tough topics like bullying, our Sevadars came together as a big family to discuss how we, as a Malaysian Sikh community, can protect, cover, and guide our kids through modern-day challenges.
• *Kaun Banega Khalsa:* Our spin on the classic game show that brought out amazing friendly competition and tested Gurmat knowledge in the most fun way.

An event like this is never a one-man show. On behalf of the Sikh Parivar Jatha, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to:
• *The Management Committee & Sangat of Gurdwara Sahib Menglembu:* Thank you for opening your doors, supporting us unconditionally, and making us feel so at home.
• *Sikh Naujawan Sabha Perak:* A huge thank you for your incredible logistics support
• *The Parents & Sevadars:* Thank you for trusting us with your children, and to the sevadars who gave their 100% to make this weekend a memorable one.

As we approach the month of June, our thoughts turn to one of the most defining and emotional chapters in Sikh history. June 1984 was not merely a historical event,it was a period that witnessed immense sacrifice, unwavering faith, and the spirit of Shaheedi that has always been the strength of the Khalsa Panth.
To honour the memory of those who stood firm in their commitment to Guru Sahib and to reflect upon the values of courage, resilience, and Chardikala, Niketan HQ will be organizing a Jaap & Kirtan Darbar on Saturday, 6th June 2026, as detailed in the attached poster.
This is more than a program; it is an opportunity for us to come together as a family, engage in Naam Simran, listen to Gurbani Kirtan, and remember the sacrifices that continue to inspire generations of Sikhs across the world.
The Shaheeds of the Panth taught us that true victory lies not in power or numbers, but in steadfastness to truth, faith, and Guru's path. Their legacy calls upon us to strengthen our Sikhi, deepen our connection with Gurbani, and pass these values on to the next generation.
