🌊 WORLD DROWNING PREVENTION DAY 2026 🌊
Today, on World Drowning Prevention Day 2026, we are incredibly honoured that Red Rescue Malaysia has been featured by StarHealth Malaysia, with our story published in today’s newspaper. 📰💙
This isn’t just media coverage—it represents a shared mission to raise awareness that drowning is preventable, and that the right knowledge and skills can save lives.
Many people believe that knowing how to swim is enough. The reality is that water safety awareness, proper rescue techniques, and CPR are essential life-saving skills that everyone should learn.
💡 Here are a few key reminders:
✅ Don’t jump into the water to rescue someone unless you’re properly trained.
✅ Remember the rescue sequence: Talk, Throw, Reach, Row, Go.
✅ Learn CPR and First Aid from certified instructors—you never know when those skills could save a life.
We’re grateful to StarHealth Malaysia for providing us with the opportunity to spread this important message and inspire more Malaysians to take water safety seriously.
📖 Missed today’s newspaper? Don’t worry—the full online version of the article will be available next Wednesday. Stay tuned, read it, and share it with your family and friends. Together, we can help create a safer community.
💬 Have you ever experienced or witnessed a drowning or near-drowning incident? Share your story in the comments. Your experience could educate others and even save a life.
Because one skill, one decision, and one person can make the difference between life and death.

👨👧👦 Happy Father’s Day 2026 ❤️
A father is often a child’s first protector, first teacher, and first hero.
Every day, fathers make countless sacrifices—guiding, supporting, and protecting their families through life’s challenges. Their presence shapes confidence, resilience, and a sense of security that lasts a lifetime.
Today, we celebrate all fathers, father figures, and the everyday heroes who continue to lead with strength, love, and compassion.
💭 Take a moment today:
What is the most valuable lesson your father has ever taught you?

Not every emergency happens on dry land. 🌊
We are proud to officially launch our Hydrotherapist Water Safety Certification in collaboration with the Hospital Kuala Lumpur Physiotherapy Department — a major step forward in strengthening safety standards within hydrotherapy and rehabilitation environments.
Hydrotherapy sessions involve trust, care, and responsibility. But when emergencies happen in water, proper response training can make the difference between panic and lifesaving action.
This certification focuses on:
✅ Water emergency preparedness
✅ Patient safety awareness
✅ Rescue response techniques
✅ Building confidence in hydrotherapy environments
As healthcare environments continue evolving, safety training should evolve too.
The real question is:
Are our healthcare facilities truly prepared for water-related emergencies? 👀
Huge appreciation to the HKL Physiotherapy Department for the trust, collaboration, and commitment towards safer patient care 🤝
Together, we raise the standard of safety in hydrotherapy care.

To every mother who heals with love, protects with strength, and sacrifices without asking for anything in return — today, we celebrate YOU. ❤️
A mother’s care is often the first form of rescue we ever experience. From late nights staying awake for us, to always making sure we’re safe, fed, and loved… mothers are everyday heroes in ways words can never fully describe.
This Mother’s Day, Red Rescue Malaysia would like to honour all mothers, single mothers, frontliners, rescuers, and women who continue to save lives both at home and beyond. 🌹
Take a moment today:
📞 Call your mom.
🤍 Hug her tighter.
💌 Tell her you love her while you still can.
Because time moves fast, but appreciation should never come too late.
