Took some time to help my club team mate, Ea Wei, with his double backhand. He already could generate lot of place and had great angles to open the court, but he hada tendency to shank his shots when he wanted to pull his backhand wide crosscourt. So we kept his head down a bit longer after his contact point, to maintain a smoother racquet path through out his shot and his backhand is killer efficient now.
We also worked on his net game and got more solid punch volleys by getting him to maintain his wrist in a V-shape through out his volleys and to transfer his body weight without backswing. His volleys have way more control now.
HE gives me credit but he did all the work. Well Done Ea Wei!

“After a series of coaches with middling success I gave up on tennis. A friend recommended Jonathan so I thought I'd try again. I have seen lots of progress and look forward to the classes. Above all, Jonathan is very patient :)”

One of the most useful tools in tennis training is actually the wall. It helps on your timing by making you react faster. It also responds to a variety of spins. It never tires and always sends back your ball so you don't need too many balls. It is always there for you. World Number One ATP Tennis Champions like Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer swear by their efficacy and always use it as part of their training program.
