Over the past months I have been burdened by some tragic events that have made communities spar over ideologies and policies, that have led to verbal and physical altercations, between people who once co-existed and united under one common saying, “we are Africans”
One of the beauties of our mother Africa is that her love covers all of her own including those she may not be attuned with. Yet her care for peace, love and harmony has no limits. She has enriched her descendants with some special skills for survival and her spirit guides and reminds us of the path home. This path is in every offspring of hers whether on the continent or far beyond. So when I see my fellow brother or sister I am reminded that the path back home to Africa is close to me and I can always reach out to Mother Africa through her children and teachings that keep me proud of her and what she means to me.

Though different in a few ways our believe for a better tomorrow regardless of however long it might take encourages us to protect the community so that the community can protect us in return. Max Ndlovu and myself have known each other for quite a while now and we have trained together and trained others as well.
Our passion for fitness unites us but the privilege of being descendants of Mama Africa, in-debts us to one another to be each other’s keeper, guide and a reminder of the Path back home. The path back is simply to say never forget who you are,respect everyone, work hard and take care of those who may need your support back home. Xenophobia or Afrophobia has no place in the hearts of the descendants of Mama Africa. If both of us can focus on building our dreams here in a far place from Mama Africa, then I encourage my fellow people to remain united and collaborate to build legacies and not to destroy the opportunities for greatness on the continent.
