The KGS Club Championship 2026 came to a close after two days of competitive golf, camaraderie and memorable moments on the course. Congratulations to all our champions, prize winners and participants for making this championship a success!👏

🏌️ 30,000 NEW SCORECARDS FOR KGS! ⛳️

A big thank you to Hitachi Construction Machinery (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd for the generous sponsorship of 30,000 new scorecards for Kelab Golf Sarawak! 🙏

The new scorecard comes with 6 rows, specially designed to accommodate KGS’s current jumbo flight arrangement of up to 6 players. And yes… we have to say it, the new design looks pretty good! 😍

There’s also an exciting new chapter ahead. Hitachi Construction Machinery will be known as LANDCROS effective 1 April 2027, and the new branding is already reflected on the scorecard. Wishing LANDCROS every success for the journey ahead! 🚜✨

🏌️ KGS CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 – PRESS CONFERENCE 🏆

The countdown is on! Today, 27 August 2026 (Thursday), Kelab Golf Sarawak held the official Press Conference for the KGS Club Championship 2026, ahead of the two-day tournament happening 29–30 August 2026.

The KGS Club Championship is more than just another golf tournament, it is the ultimate test of skill, consistency, mental strength, discipline and endurance, as players battle over 36 holes across two days for the honour of becoming KGS Club Champion.

This year’s championship features the Men’s, Senior and Ladies Club Championship, alongside an Invited Guest Category, with a total of 95 participants taking part.

As highlighted by KGS Club Captain, Mr Roland Phang Cheng Xian, becoming Club Champion is a special achievement, one that goes beyond winning a trophy or prize. It is about earning a place in the history and legacy of Kelab Golf Sarawak. With only one champion in each category, every shot, every decision and every round will count.

We are also proud to have Sarawak Energy Berhad as the Main Sponsor, with CP Risk Management as the Hole-in-One Sponsor, alongside LT Sports Equipment and Prife International Sdn Bhd as supporting sponsors. Total sponsorship for this year’s championship exceeds RM180,000, including the Hole-in-One prize, lucky draw and in-kind contributions. We would also like to acknowledge Mr Law Yew Chye, Dealer Principal of Ghee Hua Group of Companies, who was present at today’s press conference and supported the display of the iCAUR vehicle, which is featured as the Hole-in-One prize for this year’s championship.

The tournament tees off at 7.00 AM with a staggered start on both days, with the final round and prize-giving ceremony taking place on Sunday, 30 August.
