ISN Lecture Series 4/2026: Mood Profiling for Performance & Mental Health
The National Sports Institute (ISN) today continued its knowledge-sharing initiative through ISN Lecture Series 4/2026, featuring Professor Emeritus Peter C. Terry from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia.
The session, titled “Mood Profiling for Performance and Mental Health among Malaysian Athletes,” explored how mood profiling can be applied to monitor athletes’ well-being, optimize performance, and support mental health in sport.
Held at Perdana Hall, ISN, the lecture brought together coaches, sports scientists, researchers, psychologists, students, healthcare professionals and members of the sporting community with a shared interest in athlete performance and well-being.
Through meaningful knowledge exchange and evidence-based insights, ISN continues to strengthen Malaysia’s sports ecosystem by placing science, performance and athlete well-being at the heart of sporting excellence.

SELAMAT KEMBALI, WIRA NEGARA! 🇲🇾
Institut Sukan Negara (ISN) merakamkan setinggi-tinggi tahniah kepada seluruh Kontinjen Malaysia atas pencapaian cemerlang di Sukan Komanwel Glasgow 2026, dengan kutipan 8 pingat emas, 3 pingat perak dan 5 pingat gangsa, sekali gus meletakkan Malaysia di kedudukan ke-10 daripada 74 negara.
Kepulangan kontinjen telah disambut oleh Menteri Belia dan Sukan, YB Dr. Mohammed Taufiq Johari di Balai Ketibaan Antarabangsa, Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kuala Lumpur (KLIA). Turut hadir menyambut kepulangan para atlet ialah Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif ISN, Dr. Vellapandian Ponnusamy, sebagai tanda penghargaan terhadap komitmen dan pengorbanan seluruh kontinjen negara.
Pencapaian ini merupakan hasil usaha bersepadu atlet, jurulatih, pegawai, pasukan sokongan serta semua pihak yang sentiasa komited memastikan prestasi terbaik dapat dicapai di pentas antarabangsa.
ISN akan terus memperkukuh sokongan melalui sains sukan, perubatan sukan, pemulihan, pemakanan dan psikologi sukan dalam usaha melahirkan lebih ramai atlet bertaraf dunia demi mengharumkan nama Malaysia.

Institut Sukan Negara (ISN) telah menyertai pameran sempena Program Pengurusan Keselamatan dan Kesihatan Pekerjaan Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) Tahun 2026 yang berlangsung di Dewan Serbaguna, SPRM Putrajaya.
Penyertaan ini menjadi platform kepada ISN untuk memperkenalkan peranan serta kepakaran dalam bidang sains sukan, perubatan sukan dan kesejahteraan fizikal kepada warga SPRM.
Pengunjung turut berpeluang mendapatkan maklumat berkaitan perkhidmatan yang ditawarkan ISN, termasuk aspek kecergasan, pemulihan, pemakanan sukan dan penjagaan kesihatan bagi menyokong gaya hidup yang lebih aktif dan sihat.
