We had the privilege of welcoming the President of the Indonesia Kyudo Federation Mr William Adriano William Adriano to our dojo for a special keiko. To mark the occasion, we held a friendly Shakai match—where he not only showed incredible skill but earned the MVP of the day title! 🏆
The day concluded with him presenting awards to our participants, celebrating both technical excellence and the spirit of friendship between our communities.

Members of the Wilayah Persekutuan Kyudo Club proudly represented Malaysia Kyudo Association at the Japan Expo Malaysia 2026 @ KLCC convention center captivating demonstration of traditional Japanese archery

Here are the highlights of the performance:

Shomen ANKF Style: Opening the demonstration, Ming Yu delivered a serene and precise ex*****on of the Shomen style, setting a standard of focus and balance.

Shamen Style : Following up, Felix Yong showcased the distinctive dynamics of the Chikurin-ha variation under the ANKF style, highlighting the diversity within modern Kyudo practice.

Makiwara Sharei Finale: To cap off the demonstration, Malaysia Kyudo Association President Chris Chiang performed a powerful, traditional Heki Ryu Insai Ha Makiwara Sharei, honoring centuries-old martial tradition and etiquette.

A big congratulations to the team for sharing the art, spirit, and beauty of Kyudo at Japan Expo 2026! 🎯✨
