What a finish to the CIMB SRAM Satellite 2026 #2!

🇲🇾 TAY JUN QIAN — THE TRUE MEANING OF DETERMINATION.

Runner-up at Satellite #1, Jun Qian came back stronger at #2. After defeating the Series #1 champion Lee Jong Hyeok in yesterday’s semi-final, he went the distance again today against 🇪🇸 Ignacio Fajardo, fighting through five games to claim the Men’s Open title 3–2!

In the Women’s Open, 🇲🇾 Whitney Isabelle Wilson completed a fantastic campaign, defeating fellow Malaysian Goh Zhi Xuan 3–1 to be crowned the Women’s Open Champion!

SEMI-FINAL SHOCKERS IN PENANG!

What a day of surprises at the CIMB SRAM Satellite 2026 #2!

In the Men’s Open, 🇪🇸 Ignacio Fajardo [3/4] produced a major upset, coming back from two games down to defeat No. 1 seed 🇲🇾 Muhammad Hafiz Zhafri in a thrilling five-game battle, 3–2.

And there was another big result! 🇲🇾 Tay Jun Qian [2] turned the tables on 🇰🇷 Lee Jong Hyeok [5/8], winning another five-game thriller, 3–2.

The result is particularly sweet for Jun Qian — Lee Jong Hyeok was the champion of CIMB SRAM Satellite #1, where he defeated Jun Qian in the final. This time, Jun Qian gets his revenge and books his place in the final!

In the Women’s Open, Malaysia secured an ALL-MALAYSIAN FINAL, with Goh Zhi Xuan [2] defeating Puteri Rania 3–0, while Whitney Isabelle Wilson [1] battled past Indonesia’s Raifa Putri Yattaqi 3–2.
