Played the 2 best courses in Bandung; the Mountain View and Parahyangan and the third round at Sedayu Golf Club; the famous links course not too far from the airport.

Highlight of the trip would be the restaurants selected for them; absolutely loved it.

It was a blast having CK and his buddies from Australia for the last 10 days here in Malaysia.

They took the northern region route of peninsula Malaysia - and what a wise choice that was 🍽️

The avid golfers from down under started off their golf tour from central region where they teed off at Mines Golf & Country Resort, the former open-cast tin mine which was the venue of 1999 World Cup of Golf won by Tiger Woods and Mark O’ Meara. Followed up by the immaculate condition Sungai Long Golf & Country Club which was the first Jack Niklaus designed course in 1993 and then to Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC) - the venue for US PGA Tour, LPGA, DP World Tour and Asian Tour. Accommodation was at Novotel KLCC; connected via a pedestrian bridge to Pavilion Mall - the center of eateries and entertainment in the heart of KL city.

The group then ventured northbound with sub 2 hours drive to Ipoh town in the state of Perak. The highlight was definitely the visit to Perak Cave Temple - famous Buddhist sanctuary built into a limestone. They played Royal Perak Golf Club which is one of the oldest and most prestigious golf clubs in Malaysia established in 1879. Their stay in Weil Hotel was carefully selected - an upscale hotel and convenience is unparalleled (located next to a mall).

Yet another drive under 2 hours, the group arrived in Georgetown, Penang. This island state is famous for its street food, rich heritage and its Penang Hill. Golf was played in Penang Golf Club; a Robert Trent Jones Jr design which is the only course on the island where Hall of Fame Vijay Singh won the Malaysian Open in 1992. The state also boast another great condition which the group played at 36 hole Bukit Jawi Golf Resort - famed for its layout and scenery.
