30 years ago, the 'fab four' - Sensei Low, Tony, Dr Leong, and Ng (you can find it mentioned by me in one of the pictures) started this dojo. As we move on to expand to other parts of the Klang Valley and other states, Tony Sensei has taken on the role of maintaining this dojo and it remains as the hq of MAA.

A meaningful gathering and certificate presentation ceremony was successfully held to celebrate the achievements of all Yudansha graduates for 2025, along with the promotion to 5th Dan on 11 April 2026. The session was led by Chief Examiner Sensei Low Thian Seng (6th Dan), together with members of the Technical Teaching Committee, Sensei Tony Yap (6th Dan) and Sensei Dr. Leong (6th Dan).

Heartfelt congratulations to all Yudansha recipients on this significant milestone in their Aikido journey.

The whole session consist of general class training, certification presentation ceremony and refreshment in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidil Fitri Celebration.

The first Malaysia Aikido Association National Kyu Grading for 2026 was successfully held today 29 March 2026 led by Low Thian Seng Sensei (6th Dan) & Dr Leong Sensei (6th Dan). All went well and congratulations to all candidates who passed the grading.

On behalf of Malaysia Aikido Association, we would like to wish all our members and their families a joyful and peaceful Hari Raya Adilfitri.

This season is a beautiful reminder of the importance of community and mutual respect—values we hold dear in our Aikido practice. We look forward to seeing everyone back on the mats soon, refreshed and inspired.
