14 June 2026 - 📅 Day 3 – Final Day & Journey Home

🥋✈️ TSSKC Miri Trip 2026

The final day arrived sooner than we expected.
We woke up at 6.00 am with sore muscles from the previous day's training, but our spirits remained high. Before leaving, everyone helped to tidy up the homestay and enjoyed a simple breakfast of Milo and bread together.

At 7.40 am, we headed to Permy Mall for the final session of the Kizuna Kumite Seminar. After registration, the participants warmed up and continued learning from the instructors one last time before the closing ceremony at 11.00 am.

Although the seminar continued after lunch, our team had to conclude our journey early to catch our afternoon flight home. We returned to the homestay for lunch, generously sponsored by Kaden's dad. Thank you for the kind treat! ❤️
After checking out, we made a quick stop at Saloma Kek Lapis Sarawak before heading to the airport. The rental car was returned, luggage checked in, and before long it was time to board our flight back to Kota Kinabalu.

At 5.20 pm, we safely arrived KK airport. As we collected our bags and went our separate ways, there was a sense that this trip was about much more than karate. It was about learning together, travelling together, supporting one another, and creating memories that will stay with us for years to come.

To our athletes, parents and supporters, thank you for being part of this journey. We may have returned home, but the lessons, friendships and experiences gained from Miri will continue with us in every training session ahead.

13 June 2026 🥋 TSSKC Miri Trip 2026
📅 Day 2 – Kizuna Kumite Seminar

An early start for an exciting day ahead!
Our team woke up at 6.00 am to prepare for the long-awaited Kizuna Kumite Seminar 2026. By 7.30 am, we left the homestay and arrived at Permy Mall before 8.00 am for registration and breakfast together at Q Food Court.

At 9.00 am sharp, the seminar officially began with the singing of Negaraku and Ibu Pertiwiku, followed by the opening ceremony. The participants then went through warm-ups and intensive kumite training sessions led by the instructors.

After a productive morning session, we took a lunch break. Sensei Vera tapau chicken rice for the team, and everyone returned to the homestay to recharge with lunch and a much-needed power nap before continuing the afternoon session.

The seminar resumed at 1.30 pm and concluded at 5.00 pm. But the day didn't end there! We headed to Canada Hill, enjoyed playing bubbles, and captured memories at the iconic Miri landmark. 🎈📸

After dinner, the young karatekas made one final visit to the arcade before calling it a day. By 9.30 pm, everyone was back at the homestay, resting and preparing for the journey home.

A day filled with learning, laughter, friendship and unforgettable memories. ❤️🥋

🥋✈️ TSSKC Miri Trip 2026

📅 Day 1 – Travel Day (12 June 2026)

Our first journey outside Sabah as TSSKC has become a memory we will cherish for years to come. ❤️💙

The day began at Kota Kinabalu International Airport, where we checked in our baggage and enjoyed lunch together at Kopi Ping before boarding our flight to Miri.

Upon arrival, we collected our rental car from Diana at KA Rental/Kong Teck Travel and headed to our home for the weekend at AW Homestay, Vista Perdana.

After settling in, we made our way to Permaisuri Mall for dinner at Seoul Garden Buffet. With full stomachs and happy hearts, the young karatekas still had energy left for some fun at the arcade! 🎮😆

By 9.00 pm, it was time to head back to the homestay, rest and prepare for the main event ahead, the Kizuna Kumite Seminar 2026.

A journey is not only about the destination, but also the memories made along the way.

Today marks a special milestone in the history of Tampulan Seiryō Shotokan Karate Club (TSSKC) as we embark on our first journey outside Sabah to participate in the Kizuna Kumite Seminar 2026 in Miri, Sarawak.

7 travellers.
5 athletes.
2 parents.
1 coach.
1 mission.

This journey is not only about karate, it is about learning, friendship, discipline and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

May our athletes gain valuable experience, return with new knowledge and continue to grow both on and off the tatami.
