Over the two days event, held on 29th–30th August 2026, every sailor demonstrated outstanding dedication, determination, and sportsmanship, perfectly reflecting our theme: “Sailing in Unity, Celebrating Freedom!” 🇲🇾⛵✨

Join us for one of Kinabalu Yacht Club's most anticipated annual sailing events – the Mermaid Trophy Race 2026!

🕐 Race Starts: 1:00 P.M.

🏆 Race Highlights
• Series racing of 4 races with 1 discard
• Female helm required for all races
• Minimum of 2 boats required to start a race

This event is open to all 470 sailors (helm & crew) and Race Officers. We look forward to another exciting day of competitive sailing, sportsmanship, and camaraderie on the water.

Taiwan Simen Sailing Team – 2026 Malaysia Training & Competition 🇹🇼🇲🇾⛵

The Taiwan Simen Sailing Team, in collaboration with Kinabalu Yacht Club, successfully conducted the Taiwan Simen Sailing Team – 2026 Malaysia Training & Competition.

The program brought together athletes and coaches for a series of training sessions and competitive racing, fostering technical development, sportsmanship, and international friendship through the sport of sailing.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, and partners for their dedication and support in making this collaboration a success.

We look forward to strengthening our partnership and creating more opportunities for international sailing exchange in the future.
