Archers from invited clubs across the state gathered and was joined by fellow archers from Hong Kong APC club to enjoy a fun and memorable game. The one day event highlighted the combination of multiple clubs combined and formed 2 teams to play against each other. The event ended with a fellowship dinner in conjunction with the "buka puasa" together with our fellow muslim friends. It is our pleasure having you and hope to meet again in the upcoming games.

🏹 Kota Kinabalu Archery Team Shines at SAGA Games 2025 🏹

From 11–17 October 2025, the SAGA Games held in Tawau witnessed an impressive performance from our Kota Kinabalu Archery Team.

Our archers displayed great focus, teamwork, and determination, securing an outstanding total of:
🏅 6 Gold | 🥈 6 Silver | 🥉 4 Bronze

🏆 Aedan Chaw Zheng Zhe – Top Male Scorer Award
🏆 Carolyn Chye Hui Yin – Top Female Scorer Award
Both proudly representing Kota Kinabalu with excellence and consistency.

Beyond archery, Kota Kinabalu also achieved remarkable success across all sports, emerging as the Overall Winner House of SAGA Games 2025 with a total of:

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah’s Quik Chern Xin successfully defended his recurve title in the Grand Final of the National Archery Championship held in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan recently.

He defeated Muhd Haiqal Danish Syamsul Affandi in the final to take the title.

Sabah Archery Association president Datuk Ram Singh congratulated Quik for his achievement and said he is now the top ranked men’s recurve player in the national system, while fellow Sabahan Evan Rich Chong who reached the semi-final stage is ranked fourth.
