Do you still remember your first Dive Instructor?
As an Instructor, there are so many things we remember about teaching you to dive.
Those first quick breaths underwater.
The moment you realise youāre actually floating.
The questions, the little discoveries, and overcoming that one challenging skillā¦ you know which one weāre talking about š
And then thereās that moment when it all clicks into place, and suddenly all the hard work was worth it.
We see it on your face before you even say anything. That smile. That look of absolute wonder that says, āI canāt believe Iām really doing this.ā
Those are the moments that make being a Dive Instructor so special.
Yes, we teach the skills, explain the equipment, practise the exercises, talk about safety and help you find your confidence underwater.
But weāre also being trusted with something much bigger, something immeasurable and sometimes overlooked.
For a little while, we get to be part of your journey.
We get to help you take those first steps into a world that may become a place you return to for years to come.
And then, you head off on your own adventures, carrying a little piece of what we shared with you into the next chapter of your diving story.
To every diver weāve had the privilege of teaching ā thank you for trusting us with a part of your adventure.
We may have taught you to dive, but youāve reminded us, every single time, why we love doing it.
And honestlyā¦ those smiles never get old. š
