🚨 Business owners, take action now!
Does your workplace have 5 or more employees?
Whether you operate an office, restaurant, retail shop, warehouse, logistics business, workshop or another workplace, you may be required to appoint an OSH Coordinator if your workplace is not one that must appoint a Safety and Health Officer (SHO).
Don’t assume this applies only to factories.
Don’t wait for a DOSH / JKKP inspection.
Don’t wait until an accident happens.
Under Section 29A of the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994, failure to appoint an OSH Coordinator may, upon conviction, result in:
⚠️ A fine of up to RM50,000
⚠️ Imprisonment of up to 6 months
⚠️ Or both
Act now:
✅ Check whether your company meets the requirement
✅ Confirm that an OSH Coordinator has been appointed
✅ Prepare your OSH documents, records and basic risk-management arrangements
✅ Get ready for OSHWA Audit and MyKKP system requirements
Don’t wait until it becomes a compliance issue. WhatsApp us today to learn more about OSH Coordinator training, OSHWA Audit or the MyKKP system.

OSH Coordinator

🔊 IF YOUR WORKERS NEED TO SHOUT, YOUR FACTORY’S NOISE IS ALREADY SPEAKING FOR ITSELF.
“Can still work.”
“Already provided earplugs.”
“The machine has always been this loud.”
These are not proof that employees are safe.
Excessive noise can damage hearing gradually. By the time an employee notices the problem, the damage may already be permanent.
🚨 HAS YOUR NRA EXPIRED?
Under Malaysia’s Occupational Safety and Health (Noise Exposure) Regulations 2019, a Noise Risk Assessment must be reviewed no later than five years after the previous assessment.
A review is also required when there are significant changes involving machinery, equipment, processes, work activities or noise-control measures or when directed by DOSH/JKKP.
Your company may need an NRA review if:
⚠️ The previous NRA is over five years old
⚠️ New machinery has been installed
⚠️ Production processes or layouts have changed
⚠️ Employees must shout to communicate
⚠️ Earplugs are provided without proper assessment
⚠️ Audiometric results indicate possible hearing changes
⚠️ No one knows exactly who is exposed
Simply providing earplugs is not enough.
A proper Noise Risk Assessment identifies:
✅ Where excessive noise comes from
✅ Which employees are exposed
✅ Employees’ actual daily noise exposure
✅ Whether existing controls are effective
✅ Whether the hearing protectors are suitable
✅ What actions the employer should take next
ECC provides professional NRA services by a DOSH-registered Noise Risk Assessor.
🔹 Workplace and machinery noise measurement
🔹 Personal noise-exposure monitoring
🔹 Noise mapping and exposed-employee identification
🔹 Hearing-protection assessment
🔹 Practical engineering-control recommendations
THE MACHINE CAN BE REPAIRED.
PRODUCTION CAN BE REPLACED.
AN EMPLOYEE’S HEARING CANNOT.
👂 Protect hearing before it is too late.
🏭 Control the noise before it controls your workplace.
✅ Review your NRA before DOSH reminds you.

🧪 DOES YOUR WORKPLACE USE CHEMICALS? THEN YOU NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO CHRA!
Cleaning agents, paints, thinners, lubricants, welding fumes, diesel, acids and alkalis may be used every day but have their health risks been properly assessed?
Providing gloves and masks does not automatically mean the chemical risks are adequately controlled.
A professional Chemical Health Risk Assessment helps your company determine:
✅ Which hazardous chemicals employees are exposed to
✅ How exposure occurs and the level of risk involved
✅ Whether existing ventilation and engineering controls are adequate
✅ Whether the selected respirators, gloves and eye protection are suitable
✅ Whether exposure monitoring or medical surveillance is required
✅ What additional control measures should be implemented
⚠️ Important reminder:
Under the USECHH Regulations 2000, a CHRA must be reviewed when:
📌 More than five years have passed since the previous assessment
📌 There is a significant change in the work, process, chemicals or circumstances
📌 Directed by the relevant DOSH/JKKP authority
Don’t let your CHRA become just another report sitting in a cabinet!
A proper CHRA should help your company control chemical risks, protect employee health and provide management with clear, practical improvement measures.
ECC Professional CHRA Services:
🔹 Chemical inventory and SDS review
🔹 Employee chemical-exposure risk assessment
🔹 Evaluation of engineering controls and ventilation
🔹 PPE suitability assessment
🔹 Practical risk-control and improvement recommendations
🔹 Assessment by a DOSH-registered CHRA Assessor

📌 接获 DOSH/JKKP 的审核指示

Your chemical area may look safe… but is it really safe for your workers? ⚠️
Chemical risks are not always obvious. Sometimes, the warning signs come from strong odours, repeated exposure, poor ventilation, skin contact, or workers feeling discomfort during daily tasks.
That is why CHRA is important.
It helps your company identify chemical health risks and take better preventive action before the problem becomes serious.
Don’t wait until workers start complaining about headaches, eye irritation, skin problems or breathing discomfort.
Better to review early than regret later.
📩 Contact ECC for CHRA consultation and assessment.
