融合国际象棋、中国象棋和围棋三大棋类的2026年古来棋艺节，配合独立日到来成功举办，此次大型活动成功吸引了444名选手参与各项比赛。

这项节庆式赛事由古来县国际象棋协会、古来县象棋协会及柔佛州围棋协会通过战略合作共同主办。

柔佛州房屋及地方政府委员会主席拿督嘉福尼亲临现场主持闭幕仪式，新加坡首位国际象棋特级大师黃銘光，及古来县国际象棋协会主席颜振铨一同出席活动。

嘉福尼表示，棋类运动不仅仅是一项普通游戏，且已被证实能培养个人多种高尚的价值观。

“通过棋类运动，孩子们学会了在行动前进行战略思考，培养了极大的耐心，学会了情绪管理，最重要的是，学会了以真正的体育精神接受胜负。”

“我们必须继续为新一代提供机会、适当的指导和合适的平台，以共创更美好的未来。”

他也在会上拨款1万令吉作为是项活动经费。

颜振铨指出，首次在古来县举办的公开组团体国际象棋赛吸引了43支队伍，共计172名选手参与。经过六轮激烈的角逐，“L2C2”队荣获公开组冠军，并赢得了900令吉的奖金。

他补充道，团队赛事能让选手们体会到密切协作的重要性，并培养团队精神与体育道德，为此强烈鼓励更多选手积极参与国际象棋比赛，因为这是学习过程中至关重要的一环。

Upon invitation of Kulai Chinese Chess Association, YB Wong Bor Yang conducted the opening ceremony of Kulai District Chinese Chess Championship.

Thank you YB Wong for your support and with more support from more parties, we believe chess culture is able to build positively in Kulai and Johor.

A big congratulation to Persatuan Catur Daerah Kulai for organizing such a wonderful event which involve more than 400 players.

This is the first event in Johor having chess, chinese chess and go chess in one festival. This is also the first open team (4 players) chess competition in Johor.
