In swimming, #0.01s is less than a blink of an eye. It is the most heartbreaking margin in sport. But to our coaches, that was a defeat; it was a masterclass in , , and fighting spirit. You left everything in the pool, Bernie, and that sheer is worth far more than any medal.

Look at how far you have come. You proved beyond doubt that you belong on this stage, racing shoulder-to-shoulder with the absolute in Malaysia. 2026 marks a deeply special milestone in our journey. As Contingent Johor prepares for SUKMA XXII & Para SUKMA 2026 in Selangor, we are immensely honored to announce that Ezy’s leadership has been appointed to head BOTH state teams:

👑 Coach KJ — Appointed as Head Coach of the Johor Para SUKMA Swim Team

To have our Head Coach and Director leading both the able-bodied and para-aquatic state squads is the ultimate validation of our Training System.
