Our regular classes at M.C. Taekwondo will now focus more on competition training based on the feedback from members and parents who are looking for a more interactive and competitive training environment.
Our 120 minute classes now will begin with a warm-up and will proceed into the competition style training for all members. Training will also include endurance drills & free sparring.
Members who wish to focus on the other aspects of training like poomsae, self defense or even advanced training for seniors may participate during the last 45mins of our training sessions.
Is there any other type of martial art training you will like to see?

It's a pain compliance technique in japanese jiu-jitsu called "outer come along" and yes there is an inner version of it too...demonstrated in class but rarely allowed to be practised by juniors due to risk of dislocation of the elbow joint if done improperly. Why you may ask?
Pain compliance training is a two way street:
If you tap without experiencing the pain;
your partner will assume it was successful.
If you refuse to tap even with the pain;
your partner will assume it had failed.
..so now your partner might break it for real.
Safety during training sessions here at
M.C. Taekwondo Penang is our outmost priority for our students and instructors...and yes of course...we have fun as well.
