🇨🇳🇲🇾 2026 Chengdu International Sister Cities Youth Music Festival | Chengdu, China × Penang, Malaysia
This music festival was organized by the Chengdu Municipal Government, which invited young artists from 16 countries across five continents to participate.👏🎉
Interpreting China–Malaysia friendship through the art of dance, and fostering people-to-people bonds through cultural exchange.
The original dance production 《万水千山总是情》 by Malaysia Glorious Dance & Art made its appearance in Chengdu. 💃💃No distance can divide the friendship between China and Malaysia; cultural exchange continues to bring our peoples closer together.
This year, we creatively drew inspiration from Peranakan (Baba Nyonya) culture, incorporating the unique charm of Malaysia’s multicultural heritage into the language of dance. Through artistic expression, the work tells a story of mutual understanding, close friendship, cultural exchange and shared appreciation between the peoples of China and Malaysia.
Through the vibrant presentation of multicultural dance, we seek to convey the deep bonds of friendship between the two countries, and to promote friendly exchanges, mutual learning between civilizations, and greater understanding between our peoples.
Chengdu and Penang became connected through sister-city relations; China and Malaysia grow closer through cultural exchange

这场音乐节由成都市政府主办，邀请了来自五大洲16个国家的年轻艺术家参与。🎉👏
以舞蹈艺术诠释中马友好，以文化交流促进民心相通。
马来西亚舞韵原创舞蹈作品《万水千山总是情》亮相成都。💃💃万水千山隔不断中马友谊，文化交流凝聚共同情感。今年我们以峇峇娘惹文化为舞蹈艺术创新载体，将马来西亚多元文化的独特魅力融入舞蹈之中，以艺术语言讲述中马两国人民相知相亲、交流互鉴的友好故事，通过多元文化的舞蹈精彩呈现，传递中马两国友好交流、文明互鉴、民心相通的深厚情谊。
成都与槟城，因友城而相知；中马两国，因文化交流而相亲。
