I am Skanda Coffield-Feith, a CAVE, TECHNICAL, and REBREATHER diving instructor. I am based in Tulum, Mexico, a ten-minute drive from the world's longest underwater cave systems. I am originally from Melbourne, Australia, but my first dive was in Koh Tao, Thailand (2006), where I took my OW Course and was immediately hooked. I spent some years diving in some of the
Rebreathers and cave diving are a perfect match! CCRs give us more time and easier logistics. These are some passages that would have been very difficult to reach on open circuit due to the distance from the entrance and depth.

This month marks One Incredible Year for Cave Diving Adventures, and what a journey it has been!
Since launching, I have being lucky to guide new and old students, and to continue teaching. To every student, dive buddy, and adventure-seeker who has been part of this first year: Thank You for trusting me and supporting my solo operation.
To run my own business has given me the flexibility to spend more time with my family, which I greatly enjoy. And also to be able to invest time now as a student, to develop my diving and instructor levels!
Looking forward to many more fantastic years!

CCR diving requires discipline and practice. Here we are building hours on the unit. Not just to get comfortable diving it for longer durations, but really consolidate familiarity with the machine and diving it. And of course practice emergency skills.
