Congratulations to Fernando & Olimpia, aka Team Olivia, on completing their GUE Cave 1

For Fernando, Cave 1 is the latest chapter in a progression we’ve had the pleasure of following from the beginning.
From single-tank GUE Fundamentals to Doubles Primer, training dives, fun dives, earning his Technical Pass, all while coming back from shoulder surgery and rehabilitation and now GUE Cave 1.
A journey built on persistence, consistency and a real commitment to becoming a better diver. 💪

For Olimpia, this course marks another important step in her professional development with Elite Divers International.

Summer is officially over, and our Fall/Winter high season is kicking off underground.
November is shaping up to be a busy month of cave training and we’re looking for a few more teammates to complete the following classes:

Another week of GUE Technical Fundamentals in the books.
Congratulations to Ajit 🇮🇳, Alex 🇩🇪 and Sean 🇿🇦 for completing an intense training of refinement and teamwork here in Playa del Carmen.
•
Three divers with very different backgrounds, brought together by the same objective: building stronger fundamentals, better awareness, greater precision and more effective team diving.
Ajit joined us from India, already with some initial technical training, to take the next step in his technical diving journey, while Alex and Sean (both local diving instructors) came to challenge themselves, refine their skills and continue developing as divers and educators.

A special thank you to Olimpia, one of the local instructors we regularly work with, for joining the team throughout the week, helping with logistics, capturing the course on video, and contributing to the growth of our local GUE diving community.

Teammate Wanted for GUE DPV1 Class | September 8–10, 2026 • Dates are flexible within the week if needed.

Prerequisites: GUE Open Water Diver, GUE Performance Diver, or GUE Basic Fundamentals certification.
The course will be conducted in open-water cenote environments and in the ocean.
•
Being a diver means exploring new underwater territories, and with a Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV), that exploration range can expand even further.
Riding a scooter is not only fun; it also allows divers to cover greater distances with less effort and efficiently transport additional equipment.
The GUE DPV Level 1 course introduces divers to the skills and knowledge required to safely and effectively use DPVs in open-water environments.
It is an essential course for divers looking to use one of the most fun and efficient tools available for extending their range and carrying additional equipment with reduced effort.
