This is important, because many souls are imperfect without being hollow. Many people lie from fear and later repent. Many wound others in confusion and later grieve it. Many fail in love because they are immature, not because they are predatory. Many have periods of selfishness without having surrendered wholly to self-worship.
So, we must be discerning.
Not hysterical.
Not simplistic.
Not eager to condemn.
Yet discernment also requires courage. We must not excuse patterns that reveal deep moral disorder simply because the packaging is polished. The outward traits of sociopathy can be subtle, even socially rewarded. But beneath them lies a profound violation of sacred relationship.
Let us examine some of those traits—not as a clinical checklist, but as moral-spiritual signs of hollowing.”
