The Chess trainers including Fide Master Joseph Mwale who is the Malawi National Class Champion will start offering free Chess Lessons at Kamuzu Institute for Sports. Therefore for those who would like to master chess this is our opportunity.

On Wednesday 18th July, 2023 The Regional Sports Development Officer-Centre was invited as a guest of honour at the Official launch of Malawi Para Games Against Stigma. The games are officially launched now and they are starting on the 27th of this month at Bingu National Stadium.

Mozambique this year Hosted A TORNEIO ĂŚNTE-PROVINTIAL TAEKWONDO TETE. This competition involved 4 African countries; Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Namibia. Malawi was represented well of which our athletes came back with 12 Medals and a trophy was awarded to Innocent Kasimbi a Kamuzu Institute for Sports athlete, as the best player of the whole competition.Inspite the trophy he also came back home with 2 Gold medals..
