Organising adventurous dive safaris for serious divers in the Maldives The True Maldives is active in the Maldives for over 26 years.

Organising adventurous dive safaris (liveaboards) for serious divers. To be able to offer you the best we mainly organize longer trips (longer than 1 week) to be able to sail out of sync with all the other safari boats thus maximizing your dive experience. We always have a European cruise director and a Maldivian dive guide on the boat to combine the best of both worlds. Check out our offers at www.thetruemaldives.com

This is not your average airport transfer. ๐Ÿ›ถ

Instead of looking for a taxi or boarding a shuttle bus, you're waiting by the water for the dhoni that will take you to your home for the next 11 days.

The best dive memories are rarely made alone.

If you're already thinking about your next dive holiday, the Maldives should be on your list! ๐Ÿ˜

Small groups. Three dives a day. Flexible itineraries. One incredible adventure.

Between dives, we sometimes visit remote sandbanks and small islands. A chance to stretch your legs, enjoy the view and take it all in before heading back for the next dive. ๐Ÿคฟ

Three minutes of doing... almost nothing.

Yet every diver keeps looking into the blue. Because you never know what might swim by. ๐Ÿ‘€

Every liveaboard starts with a carefully planned route, based on years of experience and the season.

Before every dive, our cruise director and local dive guides assess the conditions. Weather, currents, visibility and marine life all play a role. During the briefing, we explain what to expect and why we've chosen that dive site.

If conditions change, we adapt the plan.

It's hard to look away when a sea turtle looks right back at you. ๐Ÿข

Why are the Maldives so unique for divers?

Because it's not just about one incredible dive. It's about experiencing something different every single day.

Drift dives, vibrant coral reefs, schools of fish, reef sharks, turtles, manta rays and, if you're lucky, even a whale shark. ๐Ÿณ

It's this variety that makes the Maldives a destination divers return to time and time again.
