๐๐ Celebrating our love for the ocean, every single day
Could we ever miss the opportunity to share our passion and love for the ocean? Of course not. ๐
For us, June 8th โ World Ocean Day โ was not just a date on the calendar. It was another incredible opportunity to come together with our divers, our amazing team, and the whole Meedhupparu family to celebrate, learn, and take action for the ocean we all love.
Together, we created a meaningful day filled with a marine cleanup, an educational evening, and moments of sharing and connection โ giving everyone the opportunity to discover more about the underwater world, understand its importance, and become even more connected to the ocean.
Because this is what we care about. ๐
Not only exploring the ocean, but protecting it.
Not only diving into its beauty, but helping others understand why it is worth preserving.
A huge thank you to all our divers, guests, and team members who joined us and made this day so special.
Every conversation, every action, and every small effort can create a bigger change.
๐ The ocean is our passion.
๐ฑ Conservation is our commitment.
๐คฟ Sharing its wonders is our mission.
Yesterday was a great day where a lot of great people showed up for our environment and especially the ocean ๐๐But donโtforget to keep that mindset all year around ๐ For is 365 days per year ๐ฅ @ EMI ๐ข
โReimagine: Beyond the world we know, a new relationship with our ocean.โThere is a place where every heartbeat slows down. ๐A place that reminds us how small we are, yet how deeply connected we all belong.THE OCEAN ๐ It gives us wonder before it gives us answers. It teaches us humility before it teaches us strength. From the surface to the depths below, every encounter is a privilege.Every breath we take near the sea.Every sunrise reflected on the water.Every dive into the blue.Every moment of silence beneath the waves. It is magic.Real, living magic. And yet, this beauty is not guaranteed. The ocean does not need our admiration alone. It needs our respect. Our voice. Our action.Because protecting the ocean is not about saving something far away.It is about protecting the very system that gives life to our blue planet.Today, we are not just witnesses. We are storytellers. We are guardians. We are ambassadors.Ambassadors of a world that still has the power to inspire awe.A world that deserves to be experienced by future generations exactly as it leaves us breathless today. So when you stand at the shoreline...When you dive beneath the surface...When you share the beauty you have seen...Remember:Every image.Every story.Every action. Can inspire someone to care. And when people care, they protect.Together, let us reimagine our relationship with the ocean. Not as visitors. But as part of it.Because every one of us is an ambassador for this extraordinary blue planet. And its future begins with us.๐๐๐ฅ โขโขโข

Did you know that the gorgeous harlequin shrimp feeds almost exclusively on sea stars?
The harlequin shrimp is famous for its extraordinary feeding behavior. Unlike most shrimp species, it relies almost entirely on sea stars for food.
Its preferred prey includes various species, such as cushion stars and blue sea stars. Using their powerful claws, harlequin shrimp can carefully flip a sea star onto its back, immobilizing it before feeding.
They consume the tube feet and soft tissues while keeping the sea star alive for as long as possible, ensuring a fresh food supply that can last for several days. This unusual feeding strategy is one of the most specialized diets found among marine crustaceans.
Because of their dependence on sea stars, the distribution of harlequin shrimp is often closely linked to the availability of suitable prey.
Nature never ceases to amaze usโand the harlequin shrimp is a perfect example of how extraordinary life beneath the waves can be.
Want to learn more about this fascinating creature? We'll unveil all its secrets in our June newsletter. Stay tuned!
Yesterday was World Reef Day ๐๐Coral reefs cover less than 1% of the ocean floor, yet they support nearly 25% of all marine life. They are the heartbeat of our oceans, the nurseries of the sea, and a reminder of how precious and fragile our underwater world truly is.Protect what you love. Protect our reefs. ๐ ๐ชธ๐ ๐ฅ EMI
