Ultimate Pool Mauritius Festival 2026: Team Mauritius D Crowned Men's Team Champions

Congratulations to Team Mauritius D for being crowned the Ultimate Pool Mauritius Festival 2026 Men's Team Champions. Led by captain Fardeen Sairally, alongside Akhtar Sairally, Azhar Jeetoo, Kavesh Nemdharry, Moonawwar Nuzooa, Hootasan Hemraz, Yasin Sumser, and Wasiim Ollite, the team produced an exceptional display throughout the tournament. Team Mauritius D was proudly selected by Koza Ltd.

The championship final showcased Ultimate Pool of the highest quality, with Team Mauritius D facing a formidable Reunion Island A side featuring the experienced Ibrahim Omarjee, Damien Grondin, W***y Boyer, Yousouf Ghanty, and Mathieu Severin. Reunion Island made a strong start and held the advantage after the opening session, but the Mauritian side responded brilliantly with an outstanding team performance. Winning the majority of the remaining frames, Mauritius D completed a remarkable comeback to secure a convincing 13–7 victory and lift the Men's Team Championship trophy.

Team Mauritius D enjoyed a flawless campaign from start to finish, finishing the group stage undefeated before producing another commanding performance in the semi-finals to earn their place in the title decider. Their consistency, determination, and team spirit were evident throughout the competition.

Congratulations to Team Mauritius A—Anne Lyse Noyan, Khushi Bundhooa, and Urvashee Ramruttun—for winning the Ultimate Pool Mauritius Festival 2026 Ladies Team Championship. Their outstanding teamwork, resilience, and consistency over three days of competition earned them a deserved championship victory.

The championship match was a thrilling encounter from start to finish. Team Reunion Island, represented by Priscilla Boisedu, Gaelle Dennemont, and Emmanuelle Rives, produced a magnificent performance and pushed the Mauritian team all the way. After a closely fought contest, Team Mauritius A secured a 2–1 victory to successfully defend the title in front of their home supporters.

The event featured three teams competing in a round-robin format before the top two advanced to the final. Every match was played in a fantastic spirit, highlighting the improving standard of women's Ultimate Pool and the determination shown by every participant.

Congratulations to Moonawwar Nuzooa for his outstanding performance in becoming the Ultimate Pool Mauritius Festival 2026 Men's Singles Champion. Throughout the competition, Moonawwar displayed exceptional skill, consistency, and composure, producing a series of impressive performances to claim the biggest Ultimate Pool Mauritius singles title.

The final lived up to expectations, providing spectators with a truly epic contest. Yasseer Bheeky gave his very best against a highly in-form and talented Moonawwar Nuzooa, with both players producing Ultimate Pool of the highest standard. In the end, Moonawwar held his nerve to lift his first major Ultimate Pool Mauritius singles trophy in memorable fashion.
