Congratulations to Kagan on successfully completing his Cavern and Intro to Cave courses!
The final dive was a great way to finish, we did referencing and shutdowns on the way out, putting some skills we had worked on into practice.
It was a real pleasure diving with you and teaching you these courses. You took the challenges seriously, listened, worked hard, and showed great commitment throughout.
Well done, Kagan — this is just the beginning of your technical diving journey into the dark side 🙂
Also on the dive Martin Kaminsky and myself part of the Team, Philippe was Camilla's buddy and she was in charge to debrief the dive after that. I also want to say thanks to her for the assist and the great help. Promising Cave Instructor 🙂
At the end some fun for Camilla doing a squeeze passage 🙂

Weather hasnt been in our favor because the wind has been blowing North and safety is our prior concern, so we went with Kagan for a cool fun dive on the wreck of the Karwela 🙂

Today for the Cavern and Intro to cave course Kagn did a dive at Billinghurst cave with Camilla as a buddy, a connection main line, "T" left and then the skill lost diver. Also Crossed Yvonne Press inside the cave. Crystal clear water and nice warm 29 degrees !
Coming out a low viz exit skill 🙂.

The joy of taking someone on their first-ever DPV ride is pretty unique!

We all remember that first feeling of flying underwater, how fast, effortless and ridiculously fun it is.

Of course, once you combine DPV with technical diving, there is a while new set of skills to master: control, positioning, team procedures, failures, gas planning, towing and dealing with the extra task loading that comes with DPV.

A big congratulations to Michael and Kristin Hirth, who completed their TDI Tec DPV course with Thomas Louvradoux.!

They finished the course with big smiles and plenty of new skills to use their DPVs to their full potential.

Safety, skills and a lot of fun were definitely on the menu!

Another epic month at Gozo Technical Diving.

July took us from Bikini Atoll to some of the best diving Gozo has to offer, while welcoming new interns, celebrating new achievements, and supporting divers across training, guided dives and unguided adventures.

Welcome to Christian & Alma, welcome and congratulations to Camilla on completing TDI Triton CCR MOD1, and to Goran for his new TDI Advanced Nitrox & Deco Procedures Instructor rating.

To everyone who dived, trained, rented cylinders or DPVs, or filled gas with us this month — thank you.

500+ fills • 200+ dives • 15,000 L helium • 10+ courses • 35+ divers • 50+ 50% stages

Here’s to the next one.
