At our football school, we believe in giving our young players the opportunity to challenge themselves, gain valuable experience, and experience football at a higher level in Malta.

We are proud to share that 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗮𝗰 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 Mellieha SC Football School 𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗻 and yesterday made his debut. 👏

Isaac marked his first game with Mellieha with a great performance, showing great character and determination, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘁! ⚽️🔥

A fantastic start to his new experience, and another important step in his 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

More than 160 players, parents, coaches and friends joined us for our Summer Camp Pasta Night — an evening full of smiles, fun and plenty of good company. ⚽🍝

Every child who took part in our Summer Camp received a little certificate to remember the experience. After eight weeks together, they all deserved their moment. 👏

The evening was also an opportunity to say a special thank you to 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗡𝗲𝗶𝗹.

Neil has been coaching our youngest players throughout the season and played a big part in this summer’s camp. His energy and enthusiasm made him a favourite with the children — and as he now heads abroad to continue his studies, we’re going to miss having him around. 💙

Isaac first joined us when he was just five years old.

Since then, we've had the privilege of watching him learn, grow and develop — both as a footballer and as a young person.

This season brought another special chapter: winning the U16 League with Għajnsielem and being named 𝗚𝗼𝘇𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗔 𝗨𝟭𝟱 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱/𝟮𝟲. 🏆👏

Congratulations, Isaac. An achievement to be proud of — and a lovely reminder of just how far those first steps in football can lead.

Last week, we welcomed Michael from Germany to our NextGen Summer Camp coaching team.

Michael is training to become a secondary school teacher in English and Physical Education and is spending three weeks in Gozo as part of his studies. With a background in football and experience working with children, he chose to spend part of his time here volunteering with us.

For our players, it's another little experience that makes Summer Camp special — meeting someone new, learning from a different voice and discovering that football can bring people together, wherever we come from.

And for us, it's been a pleasure welcoming Michael into our sessions and sharing a little bit of NextGen with someone from another part of the world.
