During the past few weeks, Senior Vice President Dr Matthew Paris and Vice President Ing. Trustin Farrugia Cann, together with other Malta FA officials, paid several visits to the regional stadiums.

A number of improvements to the infrastructure were observed at the Luxol Stadium, Charles Abela Stadium, and the Sirens Stadium. These included the renovation of dressing rooms, upgrades to spectator seating and the regeneration of public areas.

These improvements will contribute to creating a better environment for football, making the game more attractive and enjoyable for players, officials, and the public alike.

Round 1 of the BNF U17 League A is in the books, and there were goals all over the fixture list.

St. Andrews got their campaign off to the perfect start with a commanding 8-0 win over Birkirkara, while Valletta made the game against Luxol count, taking all three points vs Sliema Wanderers with a 2-0 win.

Elsewhere in the round: Pietà Hotspurs edged past Fgura United 3-2, Hibernians came out on top 2-1 against Floriana, and Hamrun Spartans were in ruthless form, putting 13 past Mosta.

One round down, plenty more to come this season.
