🏆 SGB Salesjani AGM & 2025/26 Awards 🏆

Following a highly successful 2025/26 season, which ended with promotion to the First Division, we held our annual AGM to reflect on a memorable campaign and begin preparing for the challenges ahead.

During the meeting, we also presented our 2025/26 season awards:

⭐ Best Player – Ryan Debono
⚽ Top Scorer – Ryan Debono
💪 Most Dedicated Player – Deacon Xuereb
📈 Most Improved Player – Deacon Xuereb

Ryan Debono enjoyed an excellent season, scoring eight goals, providing four assists, and playing a massive role in our promotion campaign. His consistantly strong performances earned him both the Best Player and Top Scorer awards.

Deacon Xuereb claimed the Most Dedicated Player award for an impressive third consecutive season, while also being recognised as the Most Improved Player after showing great progress throughout the campaign.

Congratulations to Ryan and Deacon on their well-deserved awards! 👏

The focus now turns towards the 2026/27 season, with pre-season training officially starting on Monday, 6 July.

A goal from wasn’t enough as our President’s Cup journey comes to an end following today’s defeat against Msida Collies.

We accept this result with humility and will take time to reflect, learn, and come back stronger when the 2026/27 season begins.

Today’s match also marks the end of our 2025/26 season. We would like to sincerely thank our players, coaches, and all our supporters for the incredible commitment, effort, and support shown throughout the season. 💙💪

We're through to the next round of the President's Cup 🎉🎉

A balanced match stood at 2-1 till today's captain, , brought us level in the dying minutes of the match ⚽. The tie was then decided by penalties.

saved a ball on the line in the last penalty of the 5 to keep us in the shootout 👐🏻 and 's penalty in sudden death proved enough to send us through to the last round after the last Mriehel penalty was shot wide of the post 🥅
