Starting next month, we will begin announcing new kids classes at Avant-Garde Kids Academy. 🥋

We will add one new class next month, and up to three more in the following months, so we can make the best possible use of our brand-new dedicated kids space.

Please give us a little time to adjust the new schedule, structure, and organization properly.

Our goal is to create more afternoon classes, including later options after 4:30PM

We’re happy to announce that Advanced No-Gi is officially back. 🔥

This class is designed for our experienced blue, purple, brown, and black belts who have been training in the Intermediate No-Gi class until now.

We also understand that in Malta, a 7PM class can feel a little late… especially when the beach is calling

Our kids now have an academy that is almost as large as many full-sized academies across Europe. 🥋🔥

With 150m² of brand-new Fuji Mats, professional-quality training space, and classes organized by age and level, we're taking our kids program to the next level.

From now on, our 5–8 year old classes and our Kids Advanced Program will take place in their very own dedicated academy, led by our headcoach Sean Chircop.

And we're just getting started...

You may have seen a few previews on our social media recently... but yes, the news is real. 🔥🥋

Avant-Garde Kids Academy is officially here.

Starting next week, we'll be launching new classes in a brand-new facility featuring 150m² of tatami dedicated exclusively to our kids program.

A space designed specifically for children to learn, grow, play, and develop through Jiu-Jitsu in the best possible environment.

With this expansion, Avant-Garde now offers over 800m² of space dedicated to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

What started as a small academy has grown into one of the largest and most complete Jiu-Jitsu facilities in Europe.

The future of Avant-Garde Kids starts now. 💙

For the past few months, we've had the privilege of having **Biro** lead our 8–12 year old program. 🥋🔥

The only European Champion in our academy and one of the top-ranked athletes in the world in his weight class, Biro has built an exceptional competitive career and spent several years training at AOJ in California, one of the most respected academies on the planet.

While many of you know him from our Advanced Classes, he's now bringing that same passion, knowledge, and attention to detail to the next generation.

Teaching children isn't just about showing techniques. It's about building confidence, discipline, problem-solving skills, and a lifelong love for the art.

We're incredibly happy to have Biro helping shape the future of Avant-Garde and passing on the values and methodology of Jiu-Jitsu to our young athletes.
