🏆 The Antes Team Tournament 2026 Champions Crowned! 🎾

After weeks of fantastic tennis, competitive matches, and incredible team spirit, the 2026 Antes Insurance Brokers Limited Team Tournament has come to a memorable conclusion.

Congratulations to Team Renette, who emerged as this year's champions after a thrilling final against Team Lonia. Both teams produced an outstanding display of tennis and sportsmanship, making for a fitting finale to another successful edition of the tournament. 👏🏆

A special thank you goes to our tournament sponsor, Antes Insurance Brokers Limited, for their continued support of tennis at Vittoriosa Lawn Tennis Club and for helping make this event possible.

We would also like to thank all six team captains – Ann-Marie, Cory, Jean Paul, Lonia, Redent, and Renette, together with every player who took part throughout the tournament. Your commitment, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship created an enjoyable and competitive atmosphere from the opening week right through to the final.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to our committee, volunteers, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to organise another successful tournament, as well as to all the members and supporters who came to the club each week to cheer on the teams. Your support is what makes events like these so special. 💜

Both teams have battled their way through the qualifying stages and hard-fought semi-finals to earn their place in the 2026 Antes Insurance Brokers Team Tournament Final. Now, there is just one match left to decide who will be crowned this year's champions.

Today, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to Anthony Pulè for his many years of dedicated service to our tennis club.

Over the years, Anthony has been an invaluable part of our club family. As a committee member, he helped shape and support the club's growth. As a coach, he generously shared his knowledge, passion, and love for tennis with so many players. He also was a regular player by taking part in numerous tournaments, always displaying great sportsmanship and commitment.

As Anthony now is taking his well-deserved retirement, we want to thank him for everything he has done for our club and its members. His dedication, friendship, and positive spirit have left a lasting mark that will not be forgotten.

We wish Anthony good health, happiness, and many wonderful years ahead. You have truly earned it!
