It's been a busy few weeks at Gozo Sailing Club! Our windsurfers have been making the most of the sporty conditions, while the crew of Gozo Dream has been hard at work preparing for their next long-distance race. The team is now halfway to the South of France, eager to take part in the Loro Piana Giraglia 2026.

Thank you to everyone who joined our season kick-off sail on Saturday!
It was fantastic to see so many boats out together and to welcome new faces on board as crew. We had a great afternoon sailing from Mġarr, followed by drinks at Gleneagles.
A special thank you to the boat owners and skippers who made space for crew and helped make the event possible.
More Gozo Sailing Club sails and events are coming soon - follow the page or send us a message if you’d like to join us next time.
See you on the water!

⛵ Come sail with us — Saturday 9 May ⛵
Gozo Sailing Club is kicking off the season, and we’d love for you to be part of it!
Here’s the plan:
• Boats leave Mġarr Marina between 14:00 and 14:30
• We’ll gather outside the harbour at 14:30 and set off as a group
• The course will depend on the weather, but we’re likely to head on a reach along Malta’s west coast
• Back in Mġarr around 17:00–17:30
• Drinks afterwards at Gleneagles 🍻
We already have a great fleet committed, and we’re expecting a fun, memorable afternoon on the water.
👉 No boat? No problem — join us as crew! We have space on board, so drop us a message here on Facebook and we’ll match you with a boat.

Gozo Sailing Club would like to extend our sincere thanks to AIMS and Rosalie Cauchi for an excellent lecture on integrity in sports and anti-doping awareness.
The session was informative, engaging, and beautifully delivered — leaving our members with a deeper understanding of what it means to compete fairly and uphold the values of clean sport.
Grateful for your time and expertise!

We’re happy to announce that Gozo Sailing Club now has its official website:
https://gozosailing.org.mt/
This is an initial version of the site — a first step in giving the club its own online home and sharing some basic information about who we are and what we do.
Over time, we plan to continue building on it and gradually add more features and functionality for members, supporters, and friends of the club.
This is just the beginning, and we look forward to developing it further together.
Feel free to have a look and share your feedback with us.

⛵ Gozo Sailing Club – AGM Update ⛵

During the AGM, members elected a new committee to lead the club forward. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Simon Mifsud, who decided to step down from the post of President due to personal reasons. Dr. Mifsud has been a driving force behind the club since the early 2000s, and we are deeply grateful for his years of dedication, leadership, and commitment to sailing in Gozo.
