We, as a family and as a studio, are devastated by the news of Rico Auilina's passing. We knew Rico from a very young age, when he attended the Summer Creative Workshop. Even then, it was clear what a respectful, caring, and kind-hearted boy he was.

As he grew older, we had the pleasure of collaborating with him during the Summer Activities held at the scouts' premises. With great passion and enthusiasm, he showed us around and shared his vision for the future. In fact, we had already arranged dates to work together again this summer.

Rico will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. I can only imagine the immense pain his loving and united family is enduring, as well as the sorrow felt by his girlfriend and all those close to him.

I pray that God grants his family strength, comfort, and peace as they come to terms with this heartbreaking loss.

Rico, you have gone far too soon, but you will always be remembered by those whose lives you touched. May you rest in peace.

As the third term comes to an end this week, we look forward to welcoming everyone back for the new term, which will commence on the 6th of July.

It has been a wonderful and exciting year so far, filled with performances, competitions, and many achievements—both as groups and on an individual level—for students who were determined to challenge themselves and try new things.

Our students have had the opportunity to perform in public squares, renowned hotels, and even homes for the elderly, where the joy and excitement on the residents’ faces were truly heartwarming. In fact, one student who was given a leadership role within the Maltese Folklore Group expressed the wish that we organise more visits of this kind. We still have one more performance scheduled for next month, and we hope to add many more to our calendar after the summer break.

Students who started their dance journey at a very young age are now showing even greater enthusiasm and commitment, considering Artemocion Studio as their second home.
We are also eagerly awaiting the opening of our new play area, which will make our studio even more complete. In addition, there are many exciting projects in the pipeline, all aimed at helping our students grow, shine, and achieve their full potential.

The last few weeks were dedicated to Parents’ Day, allowing parents to see how much their children have progressed from one term to the next. The response has once again been overwhelmingly positive, and it is always rewarding to witness the pride and excitement of parents as they see their children’s growth, confidence, and achievements firsthand.

We consider our studio in Mellieħa to be a small community within the wider community, where parents, students, and staff work together for the benefit of our children. Although the studio is based in Mellieħa, we are proud to welcome students from Mosta, Mġarr, St. Paul’s Bay, and other localities, as friends often invite friends to join our growing family.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to another successful and inspiring term together.
