When a woman gives birth, she goes through one of the most profound experiences a body can experience.
To bring new life into this world, she often places herself second. Her focus becomes the baby, the feeding, the caring, the sleepless nights, and the endless giving. While her attention is devoted outward, her own body and emotional experience are often left unattended.
The intensity of birth, the fears, the physical demands, the emotional shifts, and everything that was experienced along the way don’t simply disappear. Much of it remains held within the body.
Over time, this can show up as feeling disconnected from herself, emotionally overwhelmed, exhausted, powerless, numb, or even depressed. Postpartum depression is complex and can have many contributing factors, but we cannot ignore the impact that unprocessed physical and emotional experiences can have on a woman’s wellbeing.
In nature, animals instinctively shake, tremble, and discharge the energy that accumulates during stressful or threatening events. Their bodies complete the cycle.
Humans, however, are often taught to keep going, stay strong, push through, and carry on. Instead of releasing, we hold. We suppress and disconnect. And what remains unprocessed can become suffering carried within the body.

The missing piece. - “This connection to my pelvis was the missing part of my whole journey.”

Why do I talk about these things?
I talk about it because I see what sits behind it: self-judgment, shame, guilt, and a history of entering sexual experiences when there wasn’t a full-body yes.
I see again and again what this does to us as women.
We tend to look at it on the surface level, but it goes much deeper than wanting se$.
We live in a culture that constantly tells us how sexual we should be. Through media, po*******hy, social media, and the stories we absorb, we are taught that desire should look a certain way and happen at a certain frequency.
And then there is the woman who feels alone because her drive is low or non-existent.
Shame and guilt comes in and “I don’t belong.” Self-judgment, crossing our own boundaries.
And when all of that is happening, your nervous system goes on alert. Your body tenses.
You can tell yourself all the words about wanting se$, but from that state, it is hard to actually feel it.
And women feel alone.
This is what I witness in my womb connection programs. Women begin to open when they hear they are not alone. When they realise they are seen in all their bits and pieces.

This session has become our little gathering, a space where we can meet ourselves in a soft, gentle, yet deep and profound way.
Some of you come into this space with the intention of working with a particular wound, pain, or pattern. Some of you simply hear about pelvic work and feel a little nudge inside.
Listen to it.
That nudge is there for a reason.
The pelvis, ge***al area, and womb are mystical spaces that hold so much like power, gifts, sensation, pleasure, but also forgotten and unattended pain, memories, wounds, and stories. Some of them may even reach back through our maternal line.
This area is approached with gentleness, curiosity, and a simple question:
“Show me what needs to be seen.”
It opens in layers, love.
The body reveals what it is ready to reveal when there is enough safety.
This part of the body is often longing for our attention.
❗️No nudity or self-touch is required in this session (unless you feel that your ge***al area would benefit from your own loving presence and touch)❗️
THIS PRACTICE COMBINES:
• Pelvic mapping - I’ll guide you into the area to meet that voice of the pelvis, womb, cervix and v.canal
• Energetic and somatic de-armouring, not just muscular relaxation
• Access to emotions, memory, and boundaries through the vaginal canal
• Breath-led pelvic movement that allows energy and emotion to move upward through the body
• Somatic integration of energy centers, bringing the body into coherence rather than fragmentation

Two upcoming trips and holidays got canceled.
At first, I was disappointed. But after taking time to process it, I can now see these cancellations as a blessing.
They arrived exactly when I most needed this guidance, especially after a training experience I attended last week in the Netherlands that brought me back into a deep, deep connection with feminine power the power that lives within the pelvis, within the womb, within the body.
It comes as a clear reminder not to drift away from my passion which is the work that gives me energy, fulfillment, clarity, and a deep sense of service to others.
What I do brings me joy, abundance, meaning, and a feeling of being fully alive.
The timing of these canceled trips feels significant.
It reminded me where my strength comes from and what truly lights me up.
And it reminded me that when something falls away, it isn’t always a setback. Sometimes it’s a redirection and a gentle nudge back toward what matters most.

I’ve put together a “cheatsheet”, a simple layout of what supports a regulated nervous system.
This week, start with 3 routines from this cheatsheet, then add 1 more each week.
If you are new to this, trying to do all of them at once can feel overwhelming, and usually that’s when we stop completely.
Your nervous system doesn’t regulate through pressure or complexity.
If you’re someone who prioritises nutrition, but forgets about sleep, boundaries, rest, emotional hygiene, or safe connection, you might still feel like you’re crashing.
This has to be viewed as a whole package!
A regulated nervous system isn’t built from one thing.
It’s built through small daily choices that support your body as a whole.
And this is for EVERY human being, whether you’re navigating a challenging season or not.
Because we all have nervous system, with no exemption 😀
When our nervous system is regulated, we move through challenges with more flexibility, awareness, and capacity. We have tools to come back to ourselves instead of just surviving everything.
❗️Also important to remember:
repair, healing, and transformation cannot fully happen in a constantly dysregulated nervous system.
