Another Positive Exchange for Mellieħa SC.

Mellieħa Sports Club was pleased to welcome Malta Football Association Vice President Adrian D. Casha for a visit to the club.

The visit provided another valuable opportunity to strengthen the relationship between the Club and the Association, while sharing views on football development and the continued growth of the game in Malta.

We thank Adrian for taking the time to visit Mellieħa SC and look forward to continued collaboration in the future.

The newly appointed Mellieha Sports Club Committee recently welcomed Malta Football Association Vice Presidents Matthew Paris and Trustin Farrugia Cann for a courtesy visit.

The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss the Association's vision for the future of Maltese football, and explore how clubs and the MFA can continue working together for the benefit of the game.

We thank Matthew and Trustin for their visit and wish them continued success in their work with the Malta Football Association.

The President, together with the Executive Committee and members of Mellieħa Sports Club and Mellieħa SC Football School, extend their heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and all members of the Mellieħa Scout Group on the sudden passing of Rico Aquilina.

His dedication, kindness, and service to the Scout Movement and our community will always be remembered with gratitude and admiration.

May God grant him eternal rest and give strength and comfort to his loved ones during this difficult time.

𝙁𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 the Annual General Meeting and the 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 of the 𝙣𝙚𝙬𝙡𝙮 𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙚, 𝙋𝙖𝙪𝙡 𝙈𝙞𝙛𝙨𝙪𝙙 has been 𝙪𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙢𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙡𝙮 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙙 as the new 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙝𝙖 𝙎𝘾.

𝙋𝙖𝙪𝙡 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 from 𝘼𝙡𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙑𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙖 𝘽𝙤𝙧𝙜, who 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙙 as 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 for an 𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙧𝙩𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙨 and will continue 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙗 in a 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙧𝙤𝙡𝙚.

𝙒𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙪𝙡 on his 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 and 𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙝𝙞𝙢 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 as he 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙨 𝙈𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙝𝙖 𝙎𝘾 into a 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧.

Mellieħa SC held its Annual General Meeting, during which members were presented with the Administrative and Financial Reports, providing a detailed overview of the club's activities and performance over the past year.

The meeting also saw the approval of the new committee, which will continue working towards the growth and success of the club, together with the approval of amendments to the club's statute.

The Club welcomed new committee members Daniel Mifsud, Keith Spiteri, Kenneth Vella and Daniel T. Mifsud while thanked outgoing members Aldo Vella and Nick Pace Debono.

The most emotional moment of the evening came when Alfred Vella Borg announced that he will be stepping down from the role of Club President.

On behalf of everyone at Mellieħa SC, we thank Alfred for his remarkable service and dedication.

Mellieha Sports Club has successfully completed the application process to register with the Authority for Integrity in Maltese Sports (AiMS).

Vice President Paul Mifsud received the certificate on behalf of the Club presented by AiMS Chief Executive Officer Kevin Azzopardi together with Dr Sihon Gauci Gonzalez, Head of Legal and Regulatory Affairs.

This registration means a key step in strengthening governance, transparency, and integrity within Maltese sport.
