The club, among the leaders in the local athletic scene, owes its existence to Fr Aidan Murray and Bro. Michael O'Meara of the Salesians School of St Patrick's, Sliema, way back in 1962. Being a boarding school, they used to give a lot of importance to sporting activities, among these athletics and in particular cross country racing. Congratulations to club athlete Aurelio Schembri on another outstanding performance !!
Aurelio crossed the finish line with an excellent 5th place overall and 2nd place in his age category at the Infrastructure Malta Midsummer Night Run 10K race in a time of 39’37”.

A huge shout out for Doreen Polidano who finished first in her age category at Infrastructure Malta Midsummer Night Run 5km race.
Doreen’s series of results cement her position as one of Malta’s top female long distance runners in W60 category.
