Day 1 Results are in from the Andro Kids Open in Düsseldorf! 🇩🇪🏓

What a start for Team Malta! Our players successfully battled through the doubles group stages and progressed into highly competitive knockout rounds, delivering some fantastic performances along the way.

👊 U19 Boys Doubles: Jayden Hearn & Blesenkemper, Lukas secured an impressive 3rd place finish! 🥉🙌
👊 U19 Boys Doubles: Karl Sawyer and Wessinger, Hamza reached the Round of 64 after facing some tough competition.
👊 U17 Boys Doubles: Carl Thorne and Mohajer Iravani, Bardia fought their way to the Round of 32, narrowly losing a very close match.
👊 U15 Girls Doubles: Mireille Bonett and Bergner, Mia Sophie reached the Quarter-Finals, putting together a fantastic run and showing great strength throughout the competition.

We’re incredibly proud of what 🇲🇹 is achieving on the international stage, and a huge well done to the entire Maltese contingent for their commitment, fighting spirit, and excellent performances! ❤️

TopSpin 2026 Training Camp Zagreb, Croatia 🇭🇷🏓

What an incredible 6-day intensive training camp in Zagreb! 💪

Our athletes completed 5 hours of high-intensity training every day, focusing on technical development, improving technique, multi-ball training, and individual coaching.

The camp was led by Coach Tomislav Kolarek, Professional Croatian National Team Coach, alongside Coach Kayque Valois, bringing valuable international experience and expertise to our athletes. Supporting the camp were Head Coach Edward Baldacchino and Coach Alex Soler, ensuring our players got the most out of every session.

Adding another level to the experience, our athletes had the opportunity to train and compete alongside professional sparring partners, Croatian National Team players, Croatian National Champions, and other high-level professional athletes. 🇭🇷🔥

The camp concluded with a competitive tournament, putting everything our athletes had worked on throughout the week into action.

A fantastic experience focused on development, discipline, technique, and pushing our athletes beyond their comfort zones.

We’re incredibly proud of the effort and commitment shown throughout the camp and can’t wait to see our players build on this experience and take their game to the next level.

What a successful weekend at the 2026 MTTA National Championships for TopSpin Table Tennis Academy! 🏆🏓

Adding to an already incredible season, where we were crowned National League Champions in the highest division of Maltese table tennis! Our athletes once again proved the strength, quality, and determination that define the TopSpin family. 💪

This weekend we proudly achieved the following National Titles:

Maltese National League 1st Division WINNERS Season 2025/26

An incredible achievement for TopSpin Table Tennis Academy as Team Andro secures the National League title in the highest division. This success is a true reflection of the dedication, discipline, and continuous development shown by our athletes throughout the entire season.

A special recognition goes to our championship-winning team: Edward Baldacchino, Luke Fenech, Alice Mariani, Kayque Valois, Dimitris Kortoudis, and Iakovos Aisations. A group that has shown consistency, quality, and a winning mentality from start to finish. With an outstanding record, Team Andro won all league matches apart from one, a dominant run that firmly secured 1st place in the MTTA 1st Division National League.

This season has been nothing short of exceptional for the academy as a whole. Beyond winning the 1st Division, TopSpin also achieved league victories across multiple divisions, including 4th and 3rd Division, while successfully promoting teams to higher categories across all divisions! 🙌 A testament to the depth, structure, and strength of our development system.

We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to our TopSpin administration team, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to support the academy, organise, develop, and create opportunities for every player to grow. Your efforts are the foundation of this success.
