Supporting Coach – Grassroots ⚽️

We are pleased to confirm Coach Daniel Caruana in a new role within our Grassroots technical staff for the 2026/27 season.

Daniel will continue with the Academy as a Supporting Coach, assisting across all age groups during weekends.

With the high volume of training sessions, matches and activities taking place on Saturdays and Sundays, Daniel’s support will be an important addition in helping us manage our busy Grassroots programme effectively.

We look forward to Daniel contributing his commitment and experience to support our coaches and most importantly, our young Spartans. ⚫🔴

We are delighted to introduce an exciting new chapter for our Academy, with the introduction of Girls’ football within our Grassroots programme.

The U13 Girls Team will be led by Coach Josef Dalli, whose enthusiasm and passion for the game have been instrumental in helping us kick-start this new journey.

Josef will be assisted by Coach Estelle Borg, an active women’s player who will bring her experience and passion to the group.

We look forward to building strong foundations and creating a positive football experience for our young Spartans girls. ❤️⚽️

Development Group ⚽️

We are delighted to confirm Coach Mario Galea as Lead Coach of our Development Group, bringing with him vast experience in Grassroots football and a strong understanding of young player development.

Mario will be assisted by Coach Justin Borg, with both coaches sharing a genuine passion and dedication towards helping our youngsters improve.

Their guidance will be important in developing skills, confidence and enjoyment of the game as our young players continue their football journey.

Wishing Mario, Justin and all our young Spartans a successful season ahead! ⚫🔴

We are delighted to introduce the coaching team that will welcome our youngest Spartans for the 2026/27 season.

Coach Essien Borg will lead the team, assisted by Coach Keane Pace and new addition Coach Estelle Borg.

All three are active players, bringing valuable practical knowledge and the ability to demonstrate the game directly to our youngest players.

At U5, it’s all about taking those first steps, having fun and developing a genuine love for football. ⚽️
