Who we are
The Centre for Diversity and National and Harmony (CDNH) is a non-governmental organization launched in 2014. What we do
Along with the opening of political space in Myanmar, it is obvious that there is a rise in hostile discourse among certain religious and ethnic communities. As part of efforts to counteract this trend, CDNH was established to enhance local capacities for conflict re
solution, heighten understanding of the roots and context of violence, and lead the public debate on cultural and religious tolerance. In pursuit of these ends, the center undertakes a range of activities that fall into four broad categories: Conflict Prevention and Management, Research, Training, and Public Outreach. How we work
At the heart of CDNH’s mission and approach lie its commitments to inclusivity and transparency. CDNH professes those values in its forums and papers and strives to embody diversity, harmony and cooperation in its own organizational structure and project designs.
