Would you like to be part of an exciting new coaching pathway connecting the Marshall Islands Soccer Federation with FA Wales?

We are looking for 10 people to study our Grassroots Leaders Award (a pre requisite for any UEFA C licencing with FA Wales) whilst directly supporting the development of football in the Republic of the Marshall Islands.

Skills as silky as the skirts ✨

We’re thankful for the young volunteers from Kwajalein who have been running Girls Soccer Sessions on Ebeye Island this year.

The great thing about soccer is the simplicity. A ball is all you need, and maybe some cones for goal posts. Seeing the joy the sport brings to all corners of our islands is a beautiful thing. Thank you for supporting us 🇲🇭

In Kwajalein, the soccer season is underway.

Due to limited pitch size, they play 9v9 and the season runs from August through September as the residents alternate soccer with other sports.

No slide tackles are allowed! But it’s for your own safety, the pitch is on a coral atoll and you wouldn’t want to cut your leg on the sharp coral in the ground…

Who wants updates on scores and teams?

Kwajalein is home to the US military base, and the residents are typically US citizens whose families reside on the island whilst they’re working. Some people stay for a year, others have been there for 20+ years.

Mission to get Marshall Islands to the World Cup.

Since we’re not yet members of FIFA, we’re unable to qualify for the World Cup - ultimately, that’s our goal and what we’re working towards.

Until then, Marshallese representation at the World Cup came from us getting as many supporters reppin our jerseys at matches.

From the 1st match through to the final, our fans made sure RMI was present throughout the tournament (even if it wasn’t on the field)

The distance between Majuro > New York is 7,000 miles. But as the world prepares for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final, the highest honour for a player to win, we couldn’t be further away from that point.

Our Saturday morning kids sessions are back, new players inspired by what they’ve seen on TV.

The goal of Marshall Islands Soccer is to one day compete in a World Cup. We have a long way to go. But this is where it all starts. The volunteers giving up their time to deliver the sessions, the pop-up goals, stray dog invading the pitch, and the kids who dream of scoring goals.
