I’ve been spending the last few weeks putting the finishing touches on something I’m excited to share!
🎁It’s called The Nervous System Resilience Experience LIVE.
The more I teach about the nervous system, the more convinced I become that it changes the way we see. EVERYTHING.
Why we react the way we do.
Why we get stuck in patterns we can’t seem to break.
Why relationships can feel so hard.
Why knowing what to do isn’t always enough.
This isn’t just for coaches, therapists, helping professionals and leaders (although if you are, you will want to be there for sure!)
It’s for anyone who’s curious about human behaviour and wants a framework that actually helps make sense of it!
If you’ve been wanting to learn more about the nervous system, I’d love for you to join me.
🗓 July 13-16⭐ Bonus Q&A July 20💕Free to attend

The last week (or really 10 days… but who’s counting?) was pretty chill.
For 4 of them, I was in an all day course online which meant we had some easy mornings which included walks along the water, and then nice lunches (a few along the water). I then was on my course from 4-11pm daily with a break in the middle where we went walking the old town and the walls.
The other days were work heavy days (trying to get some things prepped so I can take some real time off over the next couple of weeks!). So that included content creation, admin work, and clients and groups. We tried to get a couple of nice lunches in here and there, and a couple of dinners. Old town Kotor is so nice in the evening - fewer crowds, live music, romantic lighting (truly), so if I finished early, we headed out. But some work days were longer than others so we just stayed in.
Sandwiched in between my course and work weeks was Rob’s birthday!
We rented a car (sadly the one we had rented and he was excited for was “in an accident” the night before, so we had to take the only car they had left.).
We decided to book for a night at a cute boutique hotel in Herceg-Novi right on the water - about an hour from Kotor.
The hotel was super cute and had a small little beach club which we parked ourselves on the super comfie loungers, swam in the relatively warmish waters, and talked about our life plans and dreams. We’ve done a lot of that on this trip 😍
For dinner we went to Portonovi (a short 10 min drive from the hotel) and had our first sushi meal since we’ve been away (😳)- and it was amazing! (NOA Portonovi). Perfect meal for a birthday celebration.
Overall, Montenegro has been spectacular. Considering I had never heard of it, had never placed it on my bucket list, I’m so happy we got to spend 3.5 weeks there!
We are on our last leg… heading to Sicily to wrap up this adventure!
(If you are interested in doing a little bit of travel with me, comment “Retreat” for info and to get on waitlist for my international retreats…)

On our way back from Lake Skadar, we made our way to Tivat (Porto Montenegro), had a great lunch, walked through the marina. Some very impressed yachts!
We connected with a friend and neighbor who happened to be in Kotor, and had a few really great meals together (at Ombra, Scala Santa and Hippocampus rooftop bar). We also found the best gelato!
For the rest of the week, we spent a day at a beach club, had a few yummy lunches at restaurants outside the city, and spent most afternoons and evenings doing some work. I’m also taking an online training this week for 4 days from 4-11pm so it makes the days long….
One more week in Montenegro!

On the Monday we made our way back down through the windy mountains, stopped again at Perast for a waterfront lunch and am headed back into Kotor.
The remainder of the week was just “living”. We went for walks, saw hundreds of cats, had a few yummy meals (lunches mainly) and had our go to fruit, yogurt snd protein bowls (we ate almost done all the protein powder I brought… I’ve been rationing it out for the bowls and have perfected my little recipe !) and then a lot of work… clients, groups, creating, writing.
It’s kind of nice that Kotor is so small and we’ve seen a lot bcs it makes setting aside time for work much easier!
We are definitely into the groove of this pace and loving it… although our time is running out and we booked our flights home for beginning of July:(
We still have 2 weeks left in Montenegro and then will visit Sicily (using up the remainder of our allowable days)!

We did two more hikes on Saturday - one to and around Black Lake, and one to Lake Zminje. Both beautiful with blue/green clear water. Both pretty easy (although I wasn’t a fan of jumping on rocks to get over the little water fall areas but I managed).
We headed to Tara Bridge too but it is under construction so I imagine it I’d beautiful otherwise! The views weee nice…
Dinner was at a local place that was very cute. We dined on a delicious tomato salad, trout and Hungarian stew (finally found one I liked!)
Highly recommend Durmitor National Park if you ever visit Montenegro!

When we hiked up to the fort above Kotor, we met a couple from New Zealand that told us we had to do sone hiking up in the Durmitor National Park.
So we rented a car, booked 2 nights in an A frame measure house and headed 3 hours north.
On the way, we stopped at the cute town of Perast and ended up having breakfast at one of the waterfront restaurants bcs it was just so beautiful.
We continued winding our way into the mountains, stopping often to take in the view.
Our place was located just out of the town of Zabljak. We decided to head down towards Tara River Canyon, but got a bit lost so ended up pulling over at a small restaurant. Next to the parking lot was a path that we decided to head up.
We ended up hiking to Čurevac viewpoint. 360degree stunning view of mountains, canyon, clouds. The photos and videos can not do it justice.
We stayed up at the viewpoint for a while chatting with other travelers. One of the best part of traveling is who you meet and for a few minutes your path crosses with people from around the world!
We headed back, had a “meat platter” at a restaurant in Zabljak then headed back to our little a cabin and enjoyed the evening. The stars were out, but it was a little chilly, so we didn’t stay out too long.
Another beautiful day!
