UIM titles at stake in Ruse and Rogoźno!

The last two titled events of the year for Circuit Hydro classes take place this weekend in Ruse, Bulgaria, and Rogoźno, Poland.

The Bulgarian city hosts the fifth and final round of the F500 World Championship. Marcin Zielinski, fresh from his win at the F500 European Championship earlier this summer in Estonia, arrives in town as the leader of this year’s World Championship overall standings with 67 points. He will face competition from ten other drivers, including his closest rival for the championship title, Estonian Erko Aabrams, who is second in the standings just four points behind with 63 points.

Ruse, a new venue on the UIM calendar, is also welcoming the GT15 European Championship, where eight drivers from five different countries will compete for the European crown.

In Poland, F125 and F250 drivers will compete for the European Championships in their respective classes, following the conclusion of the World Championship seasons in both categories. Second- and third-placed drivers in this year’s F125 World Championship, Gabriele Rossi and Luca Finotti, will battle twelve other competitors, including Polish veteran Henryk Synoracki.

Eight drivers are entered in the F250 class, including newly crowned World Champion Massimiliano Cremona and the second- and third-placed drivers in the World Championship standings: Massimiliano’s brother Alessandro and Thomas Mantripp.
