Our bodies are designed to move in so many directions… yet in everyday life, we often repeat the same few movements over and over again.
Sometimes, simply exploring the movements we’ve forgotten can be a beautiful reminder to the brain: oh, I still have options here. 🌿
No forcing. No perfect range of motion. Just curiosity and a little exploration.
I’m curious… did you hear any creaks or cracks? 😄
Was one direction easier—or more challenging—than another?
And most importantly: how did you feel afterwards? 🤍

I’ll be honest… I’ve been stressed. 😅
Almost a month of moving, packing, unpacking, living between boxes and trying to remember where I put everything…
But today I’m celebrating: the last cardboard boxes are officially OUT. 🎉📦
And honestly? I don’t want to see another cardboard box for a very, very long time. 😂
Transitions can be a lot. At least for me, they can leave everything feeling a little all over the place — including my nervous system.
And the truth is, during all this busyness, sometimes the only self-care that actually fit into my day was turning up the music in the car and singing along. 🎶
We need different tools at different times. Sometimes meditation is wonderful. And sometimes… a good song is what gets you through the day.
Self-care doesn’t always have to be another thing on the to-do list. 🤍
What’s your go-to song when you need an instant mood shift?
Tell me below — I genuinely want to know! 🎵👇
Did you ever notice that one nostril is usually a little more open than the other? 🌙☀️
In yoga, this natural rhythm is connected with the Nadis — subtle energy pathways through which prana is said to flow.
🌙 Left nostril — Ida
The moon channel: traditionally associated with cooling, calming, inward energy.
☀️ Right nostril — Pingala
The sun channel: traditionally associated with warmth, activity, digestion and outward energy.
And sometimes, both nostrils feel equally open. In yogic tradition, this is considered a beautiful window for meditation, presence and inner balance.
You can simply pause throughout your day and notice: which nostril is more open right now?
No need to change anything. Just notice. 🌿
Have you ever paid attention to this before? Tell me what you notice. 🤍
Did you do this as a kid? 😄
I love starting with a little play — and then noticing how quickly the body can shift when we add breath and slow things down.
What begins as something silly and familiar can become a surprisingly beautiful journey into stillness. By the end, that long, slow exhale invites the whole system to soften and settle. 🌿
Maybe we don’t always need to do more to feel better. Sometimes we just need a little play… and then permission to slow down.
Did you notice the shift from playful to calm? How did you feel by the end? 🤍
Sometimes the quickest way out of a stuck thought pattern is to give the brain something new to do. 🧠✨
When a movement is just tricky enough to require our full attention, we naturally step out of autopilot and into the present moment.
A tiny movement. A surprisingly good reset. 🌿
But I’m curious… were you able to do it? 😄
And more importantly, how did you feel while doing it — and how did you feel after?
Tell me below. I’d love to hear what you noticed. 🤍
Movement can be a way of coming home.
Not a performance.
Not something to perfect.
Not another thing to achieve.
But a conversation with your body.
At Femina, we create space to move, soften, explore, and reconnect — through somatic yoga, mindful movement, Qigong, and practices that invite both grounding and vitality.
A week surrounded by nature, the sea, and a circle of women who are also longing for more connection, presence, and ease.

Happy New Moon & Eclipse 🌑✨
A little practice for coming back into the body — and noticing how much can change when we create space around the ears, jaw, and neck.
The ear–jaw–neck connection is fascinating: gentle compression and release can create a very clear contrast from one side to the other, while the movement and breath invite softness and awareness.
And beyond the nervous system, this area is also closely connected with the lymphatic pathways of the head and neck, so gentle movement here can support circulation and lymphatic drainage. 🌿
Try it and notice the difference between your two sides.
