🛑 Important Announcement – Tournament Cancellation 🛑

Dear friends, players, and supporters,

It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce the cancellation of our upcoming disc golf tournament.

This decision was incredibly difficult for us. From the very beginning, our dream was to host a world-class event here in Latvia — to bring top-level players to our country, raise the level of local disc golf, and create something truly special for our community.

We’ve put in a lot of time, effort, and passion into this project — and we are truly thankful for everyone who believed in us and supported the idea. We did what we could with the knowledge and resources we had, but unfortunately, we were not able to reach the level of participation and support needed to deliver the kind of event we had envisioned and promised.

Out of respect for the players, the sponsors, and the integrity of the event, we’ve made the tough decision to cancel. We know this may come as a disappointment, and we feel that deeply ourselves.

👉 For those who already registered – your entry fees will be fully refunded. You don’t need to take any action; we’ll start processing refunds right away. If you have any questions or issues, feel free to message us directly.

This has been a learning experience for us, and while it didn’t end the way we hoped, it’s not the end of the road. We’re committed to learning from our mistakes and doing everything we can to come back stronger in the future — and to one day organize the kind of event we originally dreamed of.

This year is going to be spectacular—we are expecting higher-level players, and we are honored to announce that we are part of the DGPT Europe Q-Series.

So, which dates should you mark on your calendars? Circle July 24-26, when Talsi will host the DGPT Q-Series - 9Hill Open 2025.

This year, we will welcome MPO and FPO divisions, with a total of 144 players.
The tournament will be played on the 9Hill Gold layout, which will determine who is the best player at this year’s 9Hill Open.

Registration will take place in stages, starting on March 13:

March 13 – Open for Tour Card Europe players

March 20 – MPO >1000 and FPO >900

April 3 – MPO >970 and FPO >870

April 17 – MPO >935 and FPO >825

May 1 – Open for everyone

Entry fee: €150
The tournament is a PDGA A-Tier event.
