You can't race this ride; you have to pace it. The BRM200 features strict control points to validate your progress. Plan your arrival times carefully!

The Checkpoints:
→ Suntažu estrāde (24.7 km) – Closes: 10:12
→ Turaida (76.5 km) – Closes: 13:04
→ Kafe Kurmis, Taurupe (145.5 km) – Closes: 17:40
→ FINISH: Ogre (200km) – Closes: 21:30

BRM200 - ☀️🌧️ Weather in Latvia: Come Prepared for Everything!

As any local knows, Latvian weather can change in an instant. One minute you’re basking in the sun, the next you're battling a thunderstorm.

Top Prep Tips:
Layers are key: Wear a moisture-wicking base layer, a mid-layer for warmth, and a windproof/waterproof outer shell.

Rain Gear: Don't forget the waterproof jacket and shoe covers.

Hydration: Even if it’s cloudy, you need to stay hydrated.

Check the forecast daily leading up to the 30th. Being ready for all conditions means you can focus on the ride, not the weather!

One of the key rules of randonneuring is self-sufficiency. Here is your checklist for August 30th:

✅ Helmet (Must be worn at all times!)
🚨 Lights (Front White & Rear Red—fully charged)
🦺 High-Vis Vest (Mandatory for safety)
🔧 Repair Kit (Tubes, pump, multi-tool)
