A few moments from Wednesday’s official training at Smeceres sils, where the final preparations are now underway.

This year, 172 athletes from 24 countries are set to compete at the FIS Roller Ski World Championships!

The racing starts tomorrow – we can’t wait! 🔥

Finland will be represented at the FIS Roller Ski World Championships 2026 in Madona by Eemeli Taponen and Anni Rohila. 🎿🇫🇮

Both know Madona’s racing environment well – a high-quality roller ski track that is challenging without being too extreme, plus exciting racing right in the city centre.

Most of the team already knows Madona well – they enjoy the roller ski track, the atmosphere and have had plenty of successful races here, both in summer and winter.

The USA will be represented at the FIS Roller Ski World Championships 2026 in Madona by Erik Lynch, who will be racing in Madona for the first time. 🎿

🇳🇴 Meet Team Norway!

Norway is coming to the FIS Roller Ski World Championships 2026 in Madona with a strong team of 15 athletes. 🎿

Most of the team already knows Madona well – and they’re big fans of the mix: tough and exciting races at Smeceres sils, followed by fast, action-packed racing in the city centre.

Among the athletes returning to Madona is Jostein Olafsen, who competed at the 2019 FIS Roller Ski World Championships. Some of Norway’s juniors also raced here at last year’s Junior World Championships.

Italy is coming to the FIS Roller Ski World Championships 2026 in Madona with a strong team of 17 athletes – and we can’t wait to welcome them! 🎿🔥

Many of the athletes already know Madona, and this week they’re ready for more world-class racing, great team spirit and plenty of action on the course.

Spain will be represented at the FIS Roller Ski World Championships 2026 in Madona by Imanol Rojo. 🎿

Imanol already competed in Madona last year and was pleasantly surprised by both the venue and the roller ski track.
