🏑 Eleven teams. One club. One season.
Over the last ten days we've celebrated every team that wore our colours in 2025–2026 — from our U7s taking their very first steps, to our Men's side turning out week after week, to our Ladies closing the spring with a perfect record.
Some of our teams finished top. Some had seasons that asked a lot of them. All of them gave something to this club, and all of them deserved their day.
None of it happens by itself. Thank you to our coaches and team managers, who gave up their evenings and weekends all season long. To our umpires, our volunteers and our committee. And to every parent who drove, washed a shirt, brought the oranges, or stood in the rain shouting encouragement — you are as much a part of this club as anyone on the pitch.
And now the summer is almost behind us. In about two weeks the pitch fills up again: new season, new teams, some familiar faces and some new ones. Whatever last season looked like for you, it starts fresh from here.
Rest up while you still can. See you very soon. ❤️🏑

🏑 To our Men's team — thank you for this season.
Our Men's side don't get the spotlight as often as the juniors, and they rarely ask for it. They just show up. Evening trainings after a full day's work, weekends given to the club, kit bags in the back of the car from September onwards.
That's the part worth celebrating today. Not a table or a points total, but a group of men who chose to spend their season playing for this club, and who set the tone in the process. Our juniors watch them. Our younger players see what it looks like to still love this game at every age — and that matters more than any result.
A special thank you to Coach Fede, for the time, the energy and the commitment he gave this group all season long. None of it happens without him.
To every player who pulled on the shirt this year: thank you. 🏑
And if you'd like to be part of it next season — whether you've played for years, stopped a while ago, or have never picked up a stick — come and talk to us. There's a place for you here.

🏑 Played 8. Won 8. 🥇 First place.
We saved the best for last. Our Ladies finished the autumn 4th out of 7 — a mixed campaign with as many defeats as wins. Then came the spring, and something changed completely.
Eight matches. Eight victories. Zero dropped points. First out of nine teams. A perfect campaign, and a season that started in mid-table and ended at the very top.
This team has been the backbone of the club all year: the players our juniors watch from the sideline, the ones who show every girl at LHC exactly what's possible if you keep going.
Thank you to Coach Natalia for building this, and to every single player for the commitment it took.
What a way to finish the season. 🏆❤️🏑

🏑 The hardest league at the club. And the biggest step forward.
Our U19 Boys play in HWB Division 1 — the top level, against the strongest teams in the region. The autumn was brutal: 8th out of 11, and plenty of hard afternoons.
Then they went and did something about it. They came back in the spring and finished 4th, doubling their points-per-game and taking results off teams that had beaten them a few months earlier. Same squad, same league, completely different team.
That kind of turnaround only comes from one place: work. Turning up in the cold, going again after defeats, and refusing to let a bad autumn define the season.
Thank you to Coaches Delphine & Fede and Team Manager Isabelle for sticking with this group and getting the very best out of them.
Respect, lads. That was a proper season. 🏑

🏑 Unbeaten in the autumn. 🥇
Eight wins, one draw, zero defeats — our U19 Girls went through the entire first half of the season without losing a single match, and finished top of their pool. They followed it with 6 wins in the spring to take 2nd place.
Season total: 14 wins, 3 draws, 2 defeats. For a group at the end of their junior journey, that is a fantastic way to write the final chapter.
But what we'll remember is the atmosphere around this team. The way they played for each other, the way they welcomed the younger players, the standard they set for every girl coming up behind them at the club.
Thank you to Coaches Natalia & Jacques-Laurent and Team Manager Catherine for guiding this group and for everything you gave them, on and off the pitch.
Brilliant season, ladies. ❤️🏑

🏑 🥇 Champions of their pool in the autumn. 🥈 Runners-up in the spring. One outstanding season.
Eight wins from ten in the autumn to finish top. Then 4 wins, 3 draws and a single defeat in the spring to finish second. Across the full season: 12 wins, 3 draws, 3 defeats. Our U14 Boys were, quite simply, one of the most consistent teams at the club this year.
What stood out was how they played — quick ball movement, real trust in each other, and the discipline to keep going in the last ten minutes when it mattered most.
Thank you to Coach and Team Manager Ivan for a season of hard work, clear coaching and total commitment. This didn't happen by accident.
Take a bow, U14. 👏🏑

🏑 A season that asked questions — and a team that kept answering.
Our U12 Girls came out of the autumn sitting 2nd in their pool. The spring was a different story: a tougher group, tighter games, and results that didn't go their way as often as they deserved.
Here's what we saw anyway. A team that kept its shape. A team that kept passing rather than panicking. A team that turned up to training after a tough weekend and got straight back to work. Seasons like this are the ones that build players — the ones you look back on later and realize made you.
Thank you to Coaches and Team Manager Natasha, Daryl, Andrea and Natalia for the steady hand, the encouragement and for keeping this group together and smiling all the way to the last whistle.
Heads up, girls. You'll be back stronger. ❤️

🏑 2nd in autumn. 2nd in spring. And a spring that says everything: 6 wins, 1 draw, 1 defeat.
Our U11 Boys were solid from the first whistle of the season — but it was after Christmas that they really clicked. One defeat in the entire spring campaign. That's not luck, that's a team that learned how to defend together and attack together.
Structure, communication, and a genuine willingness to run for the player next to them: that's what turned a good autumn into an excellent spring.
Thank you to Coach and Team Manager Anne-Marie for the countless hours behind the scenes that nobody sees but everybody benefits from.
Great season, boys. 🏑

🏑 One squad. Two age groups. A season that asked everything of them.
Our U10 Girls played this season with our U8s alongside them — one squad, sharing every training session, every team talk and every match. Which means that some of the girls in that line-up were taking on opponents up to two years older than them, week in, week out.
Read the results with that in mind. Autumn: no wins. Spring: two. Written down like that it looks small. It isn't. It's a group of very young players learning the game the hard way and refusing to stop turning up.
Thank you to Coach and Team Manager Julien, supported by Natalia, for holding this group together, for looking after the youngest ones, and for keeping it fun when the results were hard. That matters more than you know.
Girls — every single one of you — we are proud of you. This is only the start. ❤️

🏑 Top of their pool. 🥇
Results aren't officially recorded at this age — but we're going to say it anyway, because the boys earned it: our U9 Boys finished the season first in their pool.
What made it special wasn't the winning. It was watching them figure out, week after week, that hockey is a team game.
Thank you to Coach Diane and Team Manager Fabien for the coaching, the organisation and the belief. You gave these boys a season they'll remember.
Well played, U9. 👏
