Our Silverbacks and PWF federation athlete Tomas Vincente Santana won the 84 class (20 athletes competing) at the European Students cup today held in Merignac France with a total of 717,5 kg.
He as well set Luxembourg national records on squat, deadlift and total.
Big thx to for the splendid platform coaching.
Congratulations - and looking forward to see him progress on the European and World powerlifting stage !
.andy.1 - Andy Collln placed 3rd at the Cerberus strongman battle in Eindhoven - this in a field of 17 athletes and in the open class.
It was an exciting day - with great weather and an enthusiastic group with lots of spectators.

Superproud of our Silverbacks teams performance at the nationals. We had 16 athletes at the competition - ranging from 17 till 72 in age - many amazing PRs were set - many National records were established by them - and to top it of - our 2 silverbacks Emma and Mirco won the best lifter awards. Many happy faces from both athletes and their respective coaches and trainers.
Many thanks to all volunteers that helped at organising, warmup, platform coaching, spotting/ loading, score keeping, catering, referees, housekeeping, building up and cleaning up the venue - it is amazing to see how many people are needed to pull off such an event - and it is impressive to see so many enthusiast people dedicating a whole Sunday towards this.
Proud to have the silverbacks team at the ATC gym - and being part of the PWF lux federation team.
Next stop is the equipped nationals on 18 Jan at the ATC gym.
